does that mean that the Pope and God had a dinner meeting and negotiated this, or is the church just changing their beliefs because of political pressure from the masses? For millenia, unbaptized babies have been sent to limbo, due to original sin, now the church is changing their position on that. How is it that the church can change their opinion on God's word? His word should be absolute and final, and not up for interpretation, at least if there was a God.

Ok so my boyfriend and I are talking about getting married in the future and we started talking about if when have kids. He's a catholic and I'm an atheist- He wants to have our kids baptized catholic but he's also willing to let me teach our kids about all different religions and let them choose their own path. I'm willing to have them baptized in a religion I don't believe if he's willing to let them think for themselves. That's reasonable right? it doesn't make me a bad atheist that I'm willing to let him have our kids baptized right??

Obviously he wore the robe and stuff because that was the fashionable look 2000 years ago. But if he came to earth today what would he wear? Maybe a nice Versace suit? Or how about a pair of denim jeans and a plain t-shirt? Maybe he would wear leather trousers and a cowboy hat? What do you think? What would Jesus wear?

I was raise under the catholic religion Practices. Right now, I have some religious Issues. I do not support and agree with certain practice from the catholic religion. I am becoming Protestant to certain extend..is a personal issue. But I still want to baptize my baby at the catholic church, because I do not want to close the doors for her to choose her religion when she grows up. My husband is catholic but he does not practice it. THe church by my house will not let me baptize her there unless I go to church and register at the Church...I wont go to church and I will not register. When I am ready to choose my religious destiny I will go and walk with God...But Why they are closing the doors to my child?

I was a reading an online article about how the Pope has said that even children who die without being baptized do go to heaven. I myself was baptized when I was an infant and have always been very spiritual and firmly believe in God. Does a person who was baptized as child have to be baptized again or is once enough?

They also proved that a woman was turned into salt and that there used to be giants and that a man actually lived to be over 900 years old.

One scientist at the conference said this:
