I'm partial to the Bing Crosby/David Bowie version of it, myself.

Atheist or not, that song comes with enough sugar to rot your teeth!
Try something with a bit more bite, such as the Pogues, "Fairytale of New York"
Or if that's a little too much
Emerson, Lake and Palmer's "I believe in Father Christmas"
Or Tom Lehrer's "Commercial Christmas Carol"
But I might even take Drummer Boy, over Cliff Richard's "Mistletoe and Wine"

Nothing wrong with that. Little Drummer Boy is one of my favorite Christmas songs.

Not at all! I'm atheist to the core and I still enjoy Christmas music. For me Christmas doesn't represent religion but family, friends and the spirit of giving. Just because we're atheists doesn't mean we can't enjoy the holiday for our own reasons.
And to primoa1970, Christmas music is still music. How are we hypocrites for enjoying music? Not all Christmas music is religious and atheists can celebrate the holiday without religion being involved. It is joyous to be surrounded by those we love and give to them. We don't have to believe in God or Christ to do that.
I send out holiday cards, not Christmas cards.

No, lyrically it is a dumb song anyway, Christian, Atheist or not...
A little drummer boy is not found anyway in the Bible nor is practically half of the stuff the song says, its totally made up...

As an atheist perhaps you should refer to it as a holiday song instead of a Christmas song; otherwise, you are just indirectly acknowledging the existence of a higher being. Just an observation.

"Father Christmas" by potential of The Kinks, the place the Salvation military Santa gets crushed up by potential of adverse little ones stressful "supply my daddy a activity 'reason he desires one", between different social subjects. type one all time for this atheist/humanist. "i'm Santa Claus" by potential of Bob Rivers, hilarious parody of Black Sabbath's "Iron guy". "Christmas Eve Sarajevo" by potential of Trans Siberian Orchestra- they don't look to be Mannheim Steamroller! I basically observed them returned this previous Sunday. complete string section, a captivating violinist who's as athletic as an Olympian, an entire sturdy of proficient muscians taking part in rock and classical (grimy little secret- they are infested with Julliard graduates).

It's stupid to believe that you can't enjoy a song because you're not a part of that religion. I'm not Christian and there's plenty of Christmas songs I like.

That is one of my favorites, and I like some of the carols too, though being an atheist. Music has no barriers, it speaks to all.
