Luke19:29 And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives,

*** HE SENT TWO OF HIS DISCIPLES.***

19:30 Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering

***YE SHALL FIND A COLT TIED***

whereon yet never man sat:

***LOOSE HIM, AND BRING HIM HITHER.***

"And they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon."
19:31 And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him,

***BECAUSE THE LORD HATH NEED OF HIM***

Their intention was to steal the colt, and if no one had asked, they would have.

Shame on them, and shame on God/Jesus or whatever his name for getting them to do it for him. Why could God not have just miracled his butt somewhere if he wanted? Great question.

If you are looking at this from a Christian's perspective(as I will be laying this out is the context of), the disciples never really knew what to do except what Jesus said to do. Their intentions were not to steal it, they really did not know what was going to happen. Jesus, however, knew that the boy would be there(being that he was GOD) and that they would have this conversation with him. The thing you have to ask yourself is, how could Jesus have even known it would be there? If he knew it would be there, he knew also that the boy would be there to give them permission to take it. I hope that helps and makes sense.

this would be a parable and the guy who stated "deliver them right here in front of me and kill them " became the nobleman interior the story.you may desire to bypass decrease back and examine from Luke 19:11 and that would desire to make it user-friendly to appreciate. This became Jesus telling a narrative... no longer telling somebody to honestly kill human beings in front of him.Jesus has under no circumstances been punished for breaking a commandment. He became sinnless!

The theory would be that Jesus, being all knowing, would know the owner of that colt would give permission for him to use it.

Or it could have been set up ahead of time.

"Because the Lord hath need of him." implies the owner would have known the Lord & that answer would have been suffecient.

wrong wrong wrong dont twist scripture. JESUS knew the owner was there so He said to say that because the man would be there.
