defend people from other religions or the atheists when they are being bashed or wrongly accused?

Jesus told us to love our enemies and those different from us. Are you up for that challenge?

I was asleep next to my girlfriend. In my dream I was in a eerie house. I started walking up the stairs when a dark figure appeared. Either I put my arms out toward it or it put it's arms out toward me. I then awoke and I notice I had my arms around my girlfriend and I jumped a little in which woke her up. The weird thing is that she had a dream before too, in which there was a dark figure present. Also when she had this dream, she was lying next to me in bed. It seems a little ironic that we both had a dream with this same figure while asleep next to each other.

I seem to spend more and more time in he R&S section. i think im addicted. is there a support group or something that i can join?

i get nighmares at night, that there is no R&S section on Y!A.
What should i do?

11-3.....the husband is supreme over his wife....
11-7.....but woman reflect the glory of man.....
11-9.....nor was man creat for woman's sake, but woman was
creat for man's sake....
11-10......a woman should hv a covering over her head to show
that she is UNDER her husband's authority....
I can count it with endless,if need.
So, girls (women) in Christian's posituion r under of a rather lowliness compare with boys (men). I hv ever heard a pastor said, the more Christianly girl the better to be a good wife. As she always submit to her husband.
I'm puzzling what a chilling thought it is !!! Nowadays men n women r equal. Neither man superio than women nor man inferio than men. Do not u agree with my thouht ?

Has this become a forgotten notion in our society these days? What happened to respecting each other's views/opinions, no matter what we all believe in?

I'm still young, so I don't know if it has always been this way, or if things have deteriorated over time, but we seem to live in a judgmental, close-minded world. When disagreement sparks, people take offense to it, for whatever reason. They feel that they're being attacked so they feel the need to put down others for what they believe in. They ridicule, criticize, and judge. Who is "they"? It's not just one group. It's society as a whole.

For example, I'm LDS (Mormon) and I've sometimes been told by others that I am not a Christian. I feel completely disrespected when I hear this, because I know who I believe in. I know what I am better than anyone else. We all know ourselves best.

Is it necessary to go around telling others what they are, and what they aren't?

Live and let live. No matter what you believe.

OK I'm gonna ask this again since I got a response from 6 evangelists who didn't read before they answered. I don't want a Christian text book response, PLEASE think about my question. WHat if Jesus wasn't God? What if the Old testament is misinterpreted? There are so many religions and indigenous beliefs that say the same thing. Love each other, love God, respect the earth, respect yourselves. What if you never had to kill a chicken at the altar to save your soul, as the O.T. says. Then that means Jesus came to teach us how to love and died showing just how far he would go to prove it. Just as he said love others as I have loved you, what more powerful way than to die? Than that means he was not the SON of God in a sense; but instead, God is in everyone and EVERYthing, and GOD is LOVE, and he just wanted to show that with example.Then we are all children of god, and Jesus was just a teacher. In this all religions who love go to heaven. Then he didn't die for our sin, instead to teach.

Church, with out getting so emotional. I don't go to church very often, but when I do, I can't control my self and feel like crying. I just don't know why.

God is great and powerful, there is nothing that He cannot accomplish. The Devil is a being of hate and evil that seeks to destroy all. God has the power to make the Devil cease to exsist, yet he doesn't. This is the same logic as a man who sees a snake attacking a baby, the snake being Satan and the baby being mankind, and just watchs the baby get bit repeatedly. Doesn't allowing an evil to exsist, when you could stop it easily, seem to be an evil act in and of itself?

So wouldn't this make God evil, or in the very least a neutral being?

I can't help but think this......he could make earth a paradise, but won't. can save children from murder, but doesn't. Maybe He said He won't interfere with man and just sets back crying at our pain because he won't go back on his word? Or maybe he thinks of us as his amusement?

Tell me your opinon on this subject people of Y!.......
