Compared to what?
We only have the one sample to work with, so whatever humanity gets up to is normal for humanity. Given that we've got billions of them some individuals are going to turn up on the on the statistical fringe. From Olympic champions to total recluses, from saints to devils.
Do beware of weird as "different from me".
Sometimes at the zoo it isn't clear which side of the wire has the unusual creatures.

To what or whom are you comparing us against?
I suppose compared to dogs humans are "weird", as we've created an entire industry or three based solely on disposing of our poop, while dogs are happy to drop on a dime. Compared to cats humans are weird because we rely on plumbing to cleanse ourselves and compared to mice we may be considered weird because we actually pay rent or mortgages for the same structures they live in for free.
Compared to a hypothetical extraterrestrial race humans might be weird because we are naught but shaved apes with extravagant poop disposal systems, showers and mortgages.
