I mean, wouldn't a longer life have made it more meaningful? God came to earth and suffered as a mortal for 60 years instead of 30? I think that would mean more.

30 years was enough. With all the sickness, wars and then he didn't even get laid. Better to make your point fast and get back to heaven.

well think about it this way say you have a 10 year old and a 20 year old. and they both were killed for believing something. which one would make you respect the cause more. most people would probably say the 10 year old because he/she was so young while the 20 year old had 10 more years on the earth. sure they both probably made you think how loyal they were to their belief but the 10 year old at the age he/she is shows how much you can believe in something no matter what. so Jesus dying at 30 instead of 60 shows that at that time it made more of an impact because think how young 60 is to 30.

The bible only goes into detail about 3 of Jesus' 33 years and He did more in those three years than you or I have accomplished in a lifetime. The single most important thing He did, was sacrifice Himself on the cross. Nothing he "would have done" later in life would mean as much to us today as that.

Thirty years was the amount of time that he needed, not 60

although the bible says people lived to be 900, the going death rate was in the 30's and 40's.

So for that time, he was pretty old

We will make him suffer forever because we cause him pain when we sin. He took the penalty
