Okay I just saw that the pope ended the idea of limbo for unbaptized children ... what do you think?

What about those catholic mothers who lost their babies at childbirth and were tormented by thinking their baby was in Limbo instead of Heaven ...

I read on a site about how this book is evil and full wiccan rites. and how it is turning the youth onto the wrong path. was just wondering if anyone else saw this as another ploy to put the wiccan and the witchs out thiere in a negative light. heres a link to the site http://www.aghilham.com/links/occultlinks-5.html

My topic is about llamas and I have a picture of the dalai lama but with a head of a llama. Is this offensive to buddhists? The beginning of the speech is meant to be funny.

So I'm 16 and recently I went athiest after being a Christian. Even more recently I kind of started believing that there is a God. But then again I don't believe a lot of things in the Bible. I believe in God but I also have my own virtues and morals and not the morals a book tells me to have. For now I'm calling it Alexanity named after me but is there an actual name for it?

And is there anyone else in this kind of situation?

My grandmother is religious, but was never strict with me on religion when I was growing up. My parents do not practice what they preach. I went to church for a few years, but the lady who drove me kept switching churches because she caught the congregation in the first church talking about her behind her back. Several years and miles away, I went to church on my own and quit going because I heard some of the church-men cursing on the church steps. This church was eventually abandoned by the ministry anyway. My mother bought me my first tarot cards and witchcraft books. My dad always put down religion in front of me. Who will answer for my being hell-bound? Me, my grandma, my parents, the church gossipers, or the men cursing on the church grounds?

Mat 7:14 Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Doesn't the sheer number of Christians make that impossible?

Is it ok to believe in imaginary things as long as you aren't a threat to yourself or others?

or

Is it never okay to believe in imaginary things?

I don't believe in anything but I feel that a little imagination and pretending is healthy

Example: I have a Spiderman keychain dangling from my rearview mirror so Spidey can save me in case I have an accident.

I know it isn't true but it will stay there nonetheless.

Is that what religion is for people?

Am a student here in New York and also a Muslim from Abu Dhabi (UAE citizen). Recently got a nice Christian Friend and she invited me to her home and also to her church to attend a worship service. I never saw a church even in my country. During my several visits to the church, surprised to saw thousands of ppls singing songs , clapping hands and talking in tongues. My friend informed me that they are talking to God in tongues as they all filled with holy spirit. Me too felt that God’s presence there and some kind of power is flowing all over in the church. My christian friend told me about holy spirit from the bible that promised by Jesus Christ about a “COMFORTER” to send to this world to lead the believers in the right path. My Muslim friends told me that this comforter is mentioned in the Bible is about Prophet Mohammad(PBUH). Any way, Thas a Big lie! I decided to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior . Now am scared to inform to my parents about my decision.

I am in a different locale now because I asked God for a transfer to another place. It seemed like it would not materialize; and a friend told me it had been denied. During meditation I saw myself in place X where I had never been and was told the name.I was taken on a tour and noted certain 'markers'.I was given four names. One of the names is the wife of the landlord! Another one of the persons I have seen but not met by introduction. When I share the experience, people ask me if I dreamt it.I was sitting in the sofa meditating when I had the experience. When I pass certain places in the locale where I am, I get the feeling that I have seen it before; and this happens every time. But I cannot identify why I feel that way.During the tour I was told the place is quaint; and that is true.Information I know cannot be found on the internet. How can I tell if it was a dream or vision?I suspect that some people do not want to agree it is a vision because visions are given to prophets.
