Am a student here in New York and also a Muslim from Abu Dhabi (UAE citizen). Recently got a nice Christian Friend and she invited me to her home and also to her church to attend a worship service. I never saw a church even in my country. During my several visits to the church, surprised to saw thousands of ppls singing songs , clapping hands and talking in tongues. My friend informed me that they are talking to God in tongues as they all filled with holy spirit. Me too felt that God’s presence there and some kind of power is flowing all over in the church. My christian friend told me about holy spirit from the bible that promised by Jesus Christ about a “COMFORTER” to send to this world to lead the believers in the right path. My Muslim friends told me that this comforter is mentioned in the Bible is about Prophet Mohammad(PBUH). Any way, Thas a Big lie! I decided to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior . Now am scared to inform to my parents about my decision.

Don't tell them and let them see His spirit in you first, They will wonder what has come over you, And will want what ever it is...Because the spirit of the Lord Glows through someones self, "Spirit"...Its a love that will flow from you, own to others, Then they will want to experience it for them self, And Lord Allow her family to see your spirit, Lord and I pray that you enter their spirit like you have your Child's spirit here, God bless you and may the Lord open the eyes of your heart, so that you can see His love from The ones who love Him and Praise Him. And always trust in Him from Here own out, And pray and ask the Lord to fill your Parents with His spirit, like He did you. And trust in Him that He will and HE will....God Bless you and may the Lord always stay with you through your Life's Journey.

Praise our LORD our God. Yeshua. YHWH. Jehovah. You must be careful if you parents are Muslim. While Christians are to be gentle and humble. Some Muslims believe in no understanding of other beliefs. Father we come before You to ask You for Your guidance. Your wisdom. Please watch over this new child of yours. Thank You. In Jesus our Savior we ask, amen. The Comforter is God's Spirit or Holy Spirit. He is the third person of the trinity. He is also our guide, teacher and protector. Muslims do not belive in a triune godhead. One God who is eternaly distinct in three persons. May the LORD keep you and give you His peace. For Nunya-read Joh 10:30 "The Father and I are one."

Well my hands are clapping for you. I have friends who minister to people just like you, because they are just like you.
I know your in danger of lousing your family over this, it is very scarry.
So my dear, pray. and God for strangth,

In heaven everyone there is alive, but here on earth we are dead, that is why God gave us the Holy Ghost to keep us alive in Christ, he is our teacher. Yet we are afraid, if we do something that hurts our family. They will kill us. when in truth, God became your Father. and he is covering you. By the blood of Jesus. Life starts in Heaven, as we live it here. When I get worried, I close my eyes and see a room full of white bright smoke, and I run inside, an see my self climb into this big chair, and I grab hard around the neck, and say, Save me daddy, show me what to do, Shine some glory on me so I can see. I see a figer next to him, then I climb down and sit right in the floor between Jesus and God, I dont move till I feel better. Thats my hiding place, and I am always shown what to do, and how to do it. To fix it or make it better.
I find myself likeing that place, I run to it, even now. Peace is there. But your God will never leave you or forsake you.

Tell your parents it's the right thing to do. If they aren't happy with you becoming then just live for God because it's the best thing you can. I hope you join that church that your Christian friend attends and have a good time worshipping God along with hearing the sermon from the pastor as God shows you amazing things about Him.

First of all, GOD BLESS YOU in your decision!! I am so glad you have come to the truth of Jesus Christ! Coming from a muslim family that values the Muslim faith, your parents may feel resentment from your change of faith, It may take them some time to accept your decision. I suggest that you pray to God in Jesus' name for your parents and for the courage to tell them. Pray that they too may know Jesus as their lord and Savior. God bless and good luck!!

That's awesome. Just do what you did here, tell what happened. You may also study the word and Christian apologetics. The bible says "always have a reason for the hope that is within". Tell your family about the prophecies of Israel and the Messiah and how they have been fulfilled. I'm very happy for you and I'm praying for you right now.

Bless you, bless you and bless you again. Trust the Holy Spirit. Ask Him to go before you and to help you to be wise in how and when you tell them. He WILL prepare the way. Get used to telling other people first, the more you witness for Christ, the easier it gets.

You are wise not to tell your people about your relationship with God.... you know the danger you are in better than most here.... can you stay in the US?... that would be best if you could...

The Comforter is The Holy Ghost... who is God...

Mohammad has nothing to do with The One True God, The God of Abraham.

I invite you to visit my website... as a new Christian I would welcome your commments... it is a work in progress.
