Gospel of Judas was proven authentic by carbon 14 dated. Now, the Gospel of Matthew puts guilt on Judas. Mark's Gospel doesn't! Judas' provides insight into how Judas was the favorite apostle of Jesus. And, that Jesus told Judas 3 weeks before the Passover that he was to betray him. Judas' gospel doesn't mention his own death, or the crucifixion or the ressurrection of Jesus, why? It also mentions that Jesus really appeared to Judas (at times) as a young boy so Judas would understand Him better.

Can people who were previously married, and may even have children, join the priesthood?

I'm not even a Christian. Just asking out of pure curiosity.

The Bible tells about in Numbers 31 how God commanded Jewish boys to Gang Rape 32,000 virgin baby girls, the largest Gang Rape in history ever. The curious thing is that in USA people swear on such a book, but in how many States is this necessary?

Nothing can exist without God making it happen, absolutely no thing. No being can continue even for a moment if the Godliness does not think about it and create it – moment after moment. Nevertheless, His Creatures are allowed a certain degree of free-will. That degree may soon need to be interfered with because the choices they have made and are making have brought much of Creation on the brink of eternal chaos and final destruction.

I'm an atheist (lifelong) with a Christian mother and Catholic father.

To be truthful, I'm ashamed of having my parents actually be in a theistic religion. To have them have been sucked into a delusion by my grandparents and them further back to when all this mess first started.

My parents are very intelligent and yet they foolishly hold on to their imaginary friend with their "faith" and believe that people honestly still live AFTER death for E-T-E-R-N-I-T-Y (which is a horrendously, frightening thought).

I don't know how I can go through the rest of my life having Christian parents. I bet that when I have children of my own my mother, particularly, will try to force me to celebrate Christmas (and the other holidays) with them. May bring them to church even - may think me an incompetent mother. If anything, also that we're immoral people. I'm quite sure this will happen, and am not sure how I'll respond. I can't just become the "black sheep" of the family and block them off.

This would thereby save Judas' soul from the fires of hell.
What's your opinion? ALSO, according to some Bibical scholars, Judas should be a candidate for sainthood. How would people react to that?

Do the gospels not differ on their portrayal of jesus. E.G- Mark has him giving out parables while John (written up to 50 years after Mark) gives no parables. Also, does the NT not contradict much of the OT? How can a perfect god change?

Their website is godhatesfags.com...they picket at funerals,etc..

They quote the same scriptures and say the same things as so many fundamentalists on this site...they just use worse language...but the message is the same.

Do you fundamentalists not see that you are much like this wacko? Your inflammatory words do the same damage...he has just taken it one step further...how many steps are you away from his actions? He thinks he is right...he thinks he is Godly...he thinks he is interpreting scripture accurately...and he is imposing his views on all who listen...aren't you doing the same?

why haven't we uncovered more evidence that evolution is true? (Not theoretical justification but physical proof)...

If there have been MILLIONS of years that animals have wandered the globe, shouldn't there be MILLIONS of years worth of bones left behind?

I mean I've done everything the christians told me to do but still I continue to sin. I guess I enjoy going out on a Saturday night and getting hammered. It makes me forget about the misery of the world and I have a good time for a change. Is that so bad. Then again the christians say I'm not allowed to but thats not fair.
