Nothing can exist without God making it happen, absolutely no thing. No being can continue even for a moment if the Godliness does not think about it and create it – moment after moment. Nevertheless, His Creatures are allowed a certain degree of free-will. That degree may soon need to be interfered with because the choices they have made and are making have brought much of Creation on the brink of eternal chaos and final destruction.

Nice theory, but not at all provable.

I think Leprechauns are responsible for all life. There is just as much evidence for them and they are a much kinder, more loving breed than the God you worship.

Leprechauns don't plan on creating a fire laden pit that will burn humans for eternity, they also won't create people destined for this eternal pain. Just don't touch their pot o gold, for the sake of mankind. Because like the fruit of knowledge there will be retribution.

The big difference is that Leprechauns haven't allowed humans to even come close to their forbidden gold. Where as your God put Eve in a situation that almost forced her into eating the forbidden fruit, ushering in sin and Hell.

Leprechauns are just a little more understanding and kind.

Dear Ahal,

i respectfully disagree with you in regards to the degree of man's free will needing to be done away with. God greatly values man's freedom and this is why He was willing to sacrifice his one and only Son. The world doesn't need less choices, they just need more wisdom (as the Bible says: The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom). In a sense limited freedom is not freedom at all. The Bible does teach us that we should not use our freedoms to gratify the flesh- but to serve God and others... and i think that God wants those who serve Him willingly not because they were forced or coerced into it... This is why each person must individually give an account of his/her life and the decisions they make-- to limit freedoms would also be penalizing those who use their freedoms in a responsible and beneficial way...

Kindly,

Nickster

I actually disagree with almost every sentence you've written. There is in all likelihood no God, but even if there is, there is no evidence that God interferes with nature. And because of the interplay of genetics with experience, the possibility of anything but the illusion of free will is truly unlikely. And creation extends far beyond this measly planet. To suggest that we currently have anything but meager influence beyond the bounds of our atmosphere is at worst ignorant and at best arrogant.

Only in that we are all "God", I agree. Nothing can happen without the collective force of the Cosmos ("God"). Humans may go extinct — will go extinct, and the Earth will turn to a wasteland, but the Cosmos will continue and in one form or another so will we.

I disagree, the question " If God didn't create you, who did?" does not make any sense because once the question already assumes an answer, that there IS a creator, and if there IS a creator then the answer to the question cannot be but a tautology: The creator created you

I would think long and hard about what you are saying. I would not want to live in a knot.
I believe in God, but he gave our own individual intelligence to make choices for ourselves for the good.
When someone kills another, does that mean god made it happen?

Yes, I can -- and do -- disagree as to a God being necessary to the mix.

I also can -- and do -- disagree that free will must be interfered with. Free will got us into our present condition -- good and bad -- and it is free will that shall have to get us out.

Won't you join me in helping to prevent the dystopia of your visions? Let's start today.

Peace.

I agree that God holds everything in existence from moment to moment. Also that He allows free will. We have been warned repeatedly of His intervention if we do not repent. So I guess I agree with you.

Cheers :-)

1 Peter 2:16 BEhave as free men but never use your freedom as an excuse for badness...

Free will is limited to the point that it should not step on other's right.

God will interfere, yes, he will not allow the destruction of man nor earth.

"We thank you Jehovah....to bring to ruin those ruining the earth." (Rev 11:17,18 NWT).
