This would thereby save Judas' soul from the fires of hell.
What's your opinion? ALSO, according to some Bibical scholars, Judas should be a candidate for sainthood. How would people react to that?

Just because God knows the choices people are going to make doesn't mean, he makes them do those choices.

God foreknew what Judas was going to do. That is why he prophesied about it. He knew the hearts of all men, even the future hearts of all men.

According to your theory, the Pharisees and the Roman soldiers should be candidates for sainthood as well.

No Jesus committed suicide after realizing what He did, to betray Jesus. He got money for his bidding, however after he did it he regreted what he did, so he killed himself, instead of going to Jesus and asking him to forgive him, which He would have.

I don't think he was punished for helping Jesus fulfill his role. Someone had to do it, right? Jesus couldn't kill himself.
