Okay I just saw that the pope ended the idea of limbo for unbaptized children ... what do you think?
What about those catholic mothers who lost their babies at childbirth and were tormented by thinking their baby was in Limbo instead of Heaven ...

The church never taught that there was limbo. It was something that many Catholics believed...but it was never and official teaching of the Catholic Church. All the Pope has done is reiterate that this is not a teaching of the church. We know that God loves us, he sent his son to die for us...so whatever happens to unbaptized babies...we can be sure that our loving God takes care of them.
I'm sorry for the women that were tormented by the idea that their babies were in hell...but the Church never taught them that.

The Church has pondered the suggestion of Limbo for a few hundred years and has decided that it is not a good idea. Limbo was never official doctrine.
Jesus said, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation. He who believes and is baptized will be saved." (Mark 16:15-16)
For centuries, people have wondered about children who died before they were baptized. The Bible does not explicitly state that they will go to heaven.
Limbo was suggested as the place where unbaptized babies went when they died. This idea was never official Church doctrine and has been rejected.
The Church now says that it is not sure what happens to unbaptized babies when they die but she entrusts them to the mercy of God.
With love in Christ.

Take notice....the Catholic church is famous for "changing the rules". They take away limbo today, purgatory was also taken away from what I understand. Do some research........infant baptism is not biblical. We have to make the choice to accept Jesus as our savior and be baptized . Limbo is not even in the bible. The Catholic church always has and always will make their own rules to suite them. God is not a cruel God. Why would he send unbaptized babies to a nonheavenly place for eternity when they die before reaching the age of reason. What do I think? I think people better wake up and see the truth behind the catholic church before it is too late.

At first I was kind of weirded out by the "You can change the nature of the afterlife just by signing a piece of paper? Wow..."
But then after reading it more closely, it reads not that they "ended" Limbo, but rather that "there was reason to hope" that babies who die without baptism can go to heaven.
-----------------------------
In the document, the commission said there were "serious theological and liturgical grounds for hope that unbaptized infants who die will be saved and brought into eternal happiness."
It stressed, however, that "these are reasons for prayerful hope, rather than grounds for sure knowledge."
Ladaria said no one could know for certain what becomes of unbaptized babies since Scripture is largely silent on the matter.

Apparently they were wrong about limbo, so the babies never went there. Those women must not have know that limbo "has always been only a theological hypothesis”.

Limbo is not scriptural therefore there is no such place.Jesus said in Matthew suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not." This is a promise of salvation to children that die.It wasn't said just so the children could come to Him,it is a spiritual principle.

The pope has no authority, so why listen to him. He is just a man like any other man.
Isa 29:13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

Nobody would be in limbo if they read the Holy Bible & prayed to God & lived their life by God's standards. God is not the author of confusion.....man is
