If believe as you do, then you are correct, sin is a never ending cycle. However if you see "sin" as a necessary part of our journey to enlightenment then you break the cycle.

Don't forget, after you sin, repent and sin again, to come to Yahoo Answers and try to convert people with quotes from the bible. I am sure it will give you a wonderful feeling - like you are saving someone's soul.

Repentence assumes contrition.
In other words, if you say "I repent" and intend to sin again then you have not, in fact, repented.
If you honest do repent, and further fully intent to avoid doing it again, then forgiveness is given. But later on, should circumstances change, and you once again find yourself falling into sin...you will need to repeat the cycle for the fresh burden of sin.
Hopefully you will try harder to avoid doing this over and over.

Christianity is a lifetime walk, yes you will be forgiven because our God is a loving and forgiving God but the Bible says God is also just. Therefore there is also a consequence of our sin.
Hebrews 10:26
If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left.
1 John 3:6
No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.

No. Every sin has its consequences. the deeper you go into sin, the greater the consequences. God is not a fool and people that try to play him for one get burned really bad. It is better to sin and not repent, than to sin and repent and sin again. The sin and repent cycle is a very bad habit to develop and it can be a very difficult habit to break. I have to question the salvation of those who are into this cycle, as to whether they are really saved.

God says that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, that includes you [Rom. 3:23]. Only Christ led a sinless life. So, you are already in the cycle with two possible endings. The choice is yours. I suggest repent, and faith in Christ.

No, once you seek forgiveness from God, you are supposed to turn from sin, not continue in sinning. If you keep repenting that means you are not turning from sin

That's the Christen way or is it Catholic monotheism.
Well if you keep trying to sin then maybe laws outside the faith may catch up with you and hang you from the yardarm.

Why would you want to displease God? Christians absolutely hate sin and when they sin feel great remorse. If they do not feel this way, then they may not be saved. Jesus said, "you must be born again." Meaning you must be changed into a new person and different from what you use to be.
