I was looking on the internet and i was just looking and i found this in a christian article. I'm wiccan and find this very offensive. Why are we still being seen this way?

The following Tuesday, at a meeting of concerned Deacons, Pastor Deacon Fred explained, “Wicca, is just a fancy word that insecure unsaved teenagers who hate their parents use to describe their little club.” Landover Baptist has thousands of Christian moles placed in covens, chat rooms, and schools all across America. “They feed us some pretty gruesome stuff about Wiccans,”said Pastor Deacon Fred. "From what we can gather, like Jewish people, Wiccans kidnap Christian children and drink their blood to seal their commitment to Satan." Deacon Fred continued, "My guess is that the little Devil worshipper who slipped into our Sunday Morning service last week, did so because she got some inside information about what we were going to release on our website this month."

"Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it." (Matthew 10:34-39 NASB)

A lot of people say that we look down on them because of their religion or their way of life. So what do you do when you find out someone is polytheistic, or maybe that they're atheist? It doesn't matter. A lot of people are saying we're arrogant and stuck-up. I want oth sides of the spectrum, which means I don't want pious answers I want the truth. No judging here, just want your opinions and input.

A) Jews dont believe in Jesus
B) Jews don't await the return of Christ
C) Muslims believe in Jesus, Mary and the Holy Spirit
D) Muslims await the return of Jesus Christ, just like the Christians.

So, should'nt America be a Christo-Muslim nation? or an Abrahmic nation, encompassing all three great true faiths.

Here is a link to the Muslims Holy book, the Koran. Search for Jesus and see what the Koran says.

FLORIDA -- It's true. Many Muslims do condemn terrorism - we just don't hear about it in the American news media.

Yet Americans continue to ask: "Why don't Muslims condemn terrorism? We keep waiting for the so-called moderates to speak out against violence and yet no one comes forward." A man in the audience asked me this question recently when I was invited to speak at a Unitarian Fellowship about what Arabs think about the US and Americans. I had just finished saying that many of the Arab people I interviewed for my book a year ago in Egypt, Jordan and Kuwait had condemned fanatics like Osama Bin Laden.

Perhaps the man wasn't listening. And honestly, what if many Muslims condemn terrorism day in and day out? Will this make terrorism go away? I speak to the public several times a month and at half these events the same question is repeated....

Freshwater animals do not survive in salt water with the exception of a few species like salmon. So how did Noah build all those tanks needed to keep freshwater fish and other animals alive? How could his family take care of so many tanks? All the zoo keepers in the world could not take care of two of every land dwelling animal on earth including all the freshwater animals that do not survive in saltwater. Don't forget every land dwelling arthropod on earth including all insects. ship that large would equal the size of California more than half a mile high. It would probably be larger than that. Remember that Christians do not believe in evolution and they believe that all the animals that have ever lived were on the earth at the same time and most have gone extinct. They repeat this regularly on the evangelical station. That includes the dinosaurs and the animals from the Ice Age. Do you know how hard it would be to keep only two of every animal alive?

In other words What you fear will come upon you. And so we could rightly say that prophecies aren't really prophecies at all, but fears that we allow our selves to believe to the point that they do happen.....freaky stuff eh!! So stop sitting around and do something to stop them! Those are the real Christians!

Ok, i've grown up all of my liffe being taught modesty is beautiful, and i agree with it. "Raw meat only attracts dogs," someone once told me, and i believe it. I think modesty shows high moral standards and someone close to our Father in Heaven. I don't think modesty is enforced enough. There are so many girls(and guys too) walking around in clothes that show so much. What ever hapenned to the good old knee leangth shorts, shirts with sleeves, and pants that actually cover us like they were intended to do? I'm not saying women should be wearing bonetts and long dresses, or men wear suits all of the time, but where did good modesty go? what d oyou think about it?

Oh, by the way, I am 14 years old. I'm just kind of curious what everyone's oppinion is to me being 14 and having these standards in my life.

In other words, if you believe that evolution or adaptation can occur WITHIN a species, but not lead to a new species, I ask the following: Is it POSSIBLE nonetheless that two branches of a single species (each adapting to a different environment) could over generations change physically in ways that would prevent them from successfully mating with the progeny of their ancestors?

A man meets a woman and they hit it off well. Their relationship is wonderful and is full of joy, but then the woman asks the man to join her at church. He says, "Sweetheart, I'm an atheist". What now? Is the love shared between the two now negated by that statement and who would be the one to break away first? I think it would be the woman and it would be due to the severity of her beliefs. It wouldn't be the man. What do you think?

Don't tell me you don't see it either because if you are in this forum it happens every day. It is also true that Americans (like me) also condemn Bush and his war of aggression. How cool is it that we are talking to each other directly without any damned hateful propaganda in our way? What kind of world do you wish to leave to the children of our future?

My step-father belongs to some cult, (Pentecostal I think), that believes that the Roman Catholic Church murdered the martyrs. He doesn't seem to know who "The Romans" were or what the Reformation was. If you describe the RC Church as the "mother church of Christianity", he denies it. If you repeat the Church teaching that St Peter is considered to be the first Pope, he says that, "Catholics killed Peter". Basically, I think he believes that it was Catholics versus Protestants pretty much about 15 minutes after Jesus ascended into heaven.
Is he right? Or if he is wrong, what is it that he read and misunderstood that gave him this opinion? Does his church teach this?
Help. Scholarly replies only, please.
