In other words What you fear will come upon you. And so we could rightly say that prophecies aren't really prophecies at all, but fears that we allow our selves to believe to the point that they do happen.....freaky stuff eh!! So stop sitting around and do something to stop them! Those are the real Christians!

Bobby jim, you would not be here if you were fighting against the oil companies to save the planet from its end, because in order to fight the oil companies you would have to be a terrorist, and what happens to terrorists? Thats right they get the chop block, so what are you affraid of? That is what the Bible meant. So if you were a Christian why are you still here?

If the Flood of Noah's day really happened, then why didn't this really happen?
Leviticus 18:25
Even the land was defiled; so I punished it for its sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants.
Leviticus 18:28
And if you defile the land, it will vomit you out as it vomited out the nations that were before you.
Leviticus 20:22
" 'Keep all my decrees and laws and follow them, so that the land where I am bringing you to live may not vomit you out.
Jonah 2:10
And the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.
Jonah got out of a life-threatening cult situation as Habakkuk 1:15, 16 alludes to.
As for flooding,
Job 38:34
"Can you raise your voice to the clouds and cover yourself with a flood of water?
Who can then?
Job 20:18 A flood will carry off his house, rushing waters on the day of God's wrath.
This ties in with judgment message at Habakkuk 1:5, 6
5 "Look at the nations and watch—
and be utterly amazed.
For I am going to do something in your days
that you would not believe,
even if you were told.
6 I am raising up the Babylonians,
that ruthless and impetuous people,
who sweep across the whole earth
to seize dwellings not their own.
As for the ark, it must have represented something and been important psychologically in the representation of relying on God for safety and not societal measures that attempt to say "peace" when there is no peace (Ezekiel 13:10). God saw violence, but I bet human beings were saying things were getting better and better!
Babylon might represent church and state separated. In fact, it might represent the state part of church and state separated. Oligarchies don't tend to do too well in secular history or in the Bible. Patriarchy stayed within its limits as a family concern. Monarchy was different. There is an indication of mismanagement when King David numbered Israel, although the blame still fell back on the people when he left the matter in God's hands (2 Samuel 24:14). Perhaps he was motivated by sadness over his own son's choices in life. Perhaps his assessment of the spiritual condition of Israel was hampered by a sentimental viewpoint of them after his own "failure" as a parent. He lived through this episode himself when God's viewpoint was brought to his attention.
The demon in Daniel 10:5,6 knew about the way that the "angels" who operate charts and territories about human affairs were using rivalries to drive world events. I'm still trying to figure out the interplay between the legitimate governments (the beast of Revelation 13?), the criminal operations that have representatives right near the top of the ruling authority (the image of the beast?), oligarchies (perhaps the same as the image of the beast?), patriarchies (only really Israel supposed to be doing that if they want - Romans 11:28), governments who have separated the church function from themselves (King of the North?) and those that haven't such as ancient Egypt (or modern Islam? King of the South?). In any event, Christian leaders who "carouse in the daylight" (2 Peter 2:13), and who use marriages as an excuse to eat and drink (Matthew 24:38) despite the fact that marriages might be a uniting of two conflicting kingdoms (Matthew 24:7; Daniel 11:6, 17) rather than a man and his treasure (Matthew 13:24, 44).

this might help. in case you particularly need an answer, examine this out, and perchance you will detect even one convincing prophecy. If no longer, i'm sorry. Prophecy, as info of the Bible. between the ultimate evidences that the Bible is inspired by using God (see Bible, Evidences for) is its predictive prophecy. in assessment to the different e book, the Bible grants a multitude of specific predictions—some hundreds of years in strengthen—that have been actually fulfilled in the different case factor to a diverse destiny time whilst they'll come authentic. In his complete catalogue of prophecies, Encyclopedia of Biblical Prophecies, J. Barton Payne lists 1817 predictions contained in the Bible, 1239 contained in the previous testomony and 578 contained in the hot (674–seventy 5).

No, they are events which have been prophesied about for many years.
True Christians do not fear what they will not experience. When catastrophic events begin to happen, true believers will not be here.
Those who have heard the prophecies, and refuse to acknowledge Jesus, they will be living out their fears. But THEY are not Christians.

Wait and see for yourself.
How are you going to stop a third of the trees and all the grass from being destroyed?
How are you going to stop a comet from falling to the earth and polluting the waters to the point that if you drink from them you will die?
How are you going to stop the sun and the moon and the stars from not giving out a third of their light?

So you believe that we can cause a war by thinking about it?
What about earthquakes and tidal waves?
wicked people being violent? Murders and gangs and knifing? That is all in our imagination?
