I hear this expression often, but can you show me in the Bible where it says anyone "accepted" Christ, or where anyone was asked if he had accepted Christ?

Yet I have lost friends through this 'Gate Cult' That follow some 'sect' thing, from mexico, basicly, theyre not allowed to talk to me;

"Based on Jesus' pattern for making, maturing and mobilising disciples, this vision centres on groups of twelve people called cells. Cells exist for the purpose of discipleship and evangelism, and they expect to grow and multiply - eventually reaching our city, our nation and the nations of the world with the gospel."

In Islam, is Jesus considered the "Son of God", I know he is believed to be a prophet, but is that all? I have read several verses in the Qu'ran, most of them being in the book of Mary, and none of them say for sure. Could anyone tell me what chapters I need to look in for this answer?

1. The entire vast and infinite universe was created with humans in mind?
2. That man was created in god's image (ie. if intelligent life on another planet does exist, and looks different than us, they are either just another species or animal, created by a different god, or not created by god at all)
3. That this tiny spec of a world is god's main or only concern?
4. That if adam and eve brought evil/sin into the universe, that they also affected every other planet in the universe. Essentially, they brought death to life everywhere.

Seems that the bible/christianity makes man out to be the center of the universe. Religion just doesn't seem to comprehend the vastness of space; and makes us out to be arrogant and egotistical?

I see the letter D and the # 4 everywhere I go and someone also pointed out to me that D is the 4th letter of the alphabet. It's not just me either other people notice it when they're around me. I'm also seeing the name "Dave" and "David" all over to. What's up with that? I don't believe in coincidence so don't even try the "your insane" routine. I'm being serious here.

The only proof of the bible, seems to be the bible itself. Is there anything other than that that makes it realistic?

I don't want to see any answers that says Pagan means evil, or anything similar, that is the meaning the Christian Church has placed on the word. I want to know the original meaning, back in ancient times when the many Pagan religions were not only common but accepted as well, before the Christian Church took their power and began to condemn everyone that doesn't think and believe as they do.
So, I'll ask again: What does the word Pagan really mean??
Please give links to any sites you may know of that can explain the answer.

Thanks to all. :-}

The baptism will be in Tuxtla, Mexico at a church. As their godmother, I understand I will have to go to three meetings before the baptism. Will the priest perform the baptism (and involve me) if I am not Catholic? What other traditions should I be aware of before I go down there?

Clearly I don't think it is, if for no other reason than it is against YH's Guidelines.

The thing is, when the request is for little Timmy to be pulled safely from the well, or Grandma's hip operation, I feel like an utter cow for saying anything against it. But I equally resent being made to feel that way by the request being there in the first place. I'd say that's a fair definition of religious intimidation, really.

It's not at all that I don't feel for people in a bad situation, it's just that this is not the appropriate place to solicit prayers.

Thoughts, please?

Countries that are predominantly Protestant seem to be financially in better shape than Catholic countries. Why is this the case? I do practice any of these two religions so it is very hard for me to understand why this happens.
