In the Bilble somewhere in the old testament when 'goodman' do things especially anything he does with his/her hands he prosper (Or in ones invidual prayer farmers will always pray 'Bless be the works of my hands for others to benifit'). In contrast bad people who does nothing or do things by just a command or saying words (mostly of all profession today affraid to touch soil because its dirty- but its where all of us humans depends for food- the fruit of the land), SURELY COULD NOT PRAY "bless be the works of my hands" because the land itself recognise what nature he/she is. THAT'S WHY TERRORIST, SIMPLY THE anti-environmentalist- WOULD WISH TO DESTROY earth and choose to live in the MOON or MARS or any discovered plannet that they suppose to be habitable - WHY CAN'T THEY think of ways to let the DESERT be habitable first before exploring UNIVERSE

The Vatican ambassador to Israel threatened Thursday to boycott a Holocaust memorial ceremony next week over a museum’s portrayal of Pope Pius XII’s conduct during the Nazis’ killing of Jews in World War II.

Pope Benedict XVI says he was a reluctant member of the Hitler Youth. Wouldn't it help his cause to release the records of Pope Pius XII’s conduct and clear the air?

A previous asker stated a question featured on the game show "Jeopardy" identified the JW "New World Translation" as the most accurate translation of the Bible available.

Here's the question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070412085046AAUiYKb&r=w#RpB4XDDuUDK4_abXlFlErU78Hg1GAk2JXzpQA5LJaFkSMUK1CnxW

However, the "Jeopardy" message board seems to disprove this assertion:

Just in case these Jeopardy geeks are wrong, can anyone provide a web page to back up the asker's dubious claim?

In my history on Y!A, I have saved two answers into a Word document. On every Pascal's Wager question, and on every even sillier 'Why are atheists here?' question, all I had to do was open MS Word, copy my brilliant answer, and hoppa, I had another 10 points.

Now I hardly see those questions anymore...
Why did you ruin that for me? Just for a few lousy drinks?

As the early Church Historian Eusebius said, "Many were led astray by reading the allegorical contents of the scriptures literally in the method of the Pharisees and Sadducees."

Why is this the case when it has been stated, time and time again, that the written body of the scriptures are -- as Paul referred to them -- the "letter that killeth."

On the same note, individuals such as the early Christian Church Father Origen wrote, “It is sufficient however, to represent in the style of a historic narrative what is intended to convey a secret meaning in the garb of history, that those who have the capacity may work out for themselves all that relates to the subject.”

Origen also wrote, "I believe that every man must hold these things for images, under which the hidden sense lies concealed."

I've just answered a question where I was asked to prove evolution, but I was not allowed to use proof. (This as a silly analogy for Christians who are being asked for proof of God outside of the Bible)

If the questions become more ignorant every day, is Yahoo!ANSWERS failing it's purpose?
