i have studied different religous and most of them talk about the other religous saying if you are not christian you cannot get in heaven because they are studying the wrong religious or gehova witness who say all the christian are not going to heaven do you believe that god is going to choose a religion and not the person themselve

Even atheists can answer--I know pansies are an old-school symbol, for instance. I am Pagan and wear a pentacle almost every day, usually strung with semi-precious gemstones that have good associations or beads in "lucky" colors or just beads that match my outfits. Sometimes people say "Blessed be" or want to ask me questions about Wicca and Paganism. In the Deep South and Midwest, I get asked if I'm Jewish (one point too few on the star, y'all...); in Orlando and New York City, most people know better. If you wear a symbol, what is it, and what reaction do you get? If you don't wear symbols of your beliefs, why not?

I find that creationists in here dismiss evolution because they say a donkey has never given birth to a turtle or a monkey has never given birth to a bear etc. they call this macro evolution and say it doesn't happen. (of course it doesn't happen, evolutionists don't claim that it does)

Creationsists do believe that micro evolution happens, such as the flu bug changing, viruses becoming resistiant to antibiotics do to changes etc.

i have a couple of questions to creationists (but all opinions welcome)
1) isn't macro evolution just the compounded effects of microevolution?
2)do you really think macro evolution means one species giving birth to another?
3)do you really think that evolutionists are trying to convince you that YOUR definition of macro evolution is happening/has happened/is real?

I would really like; if someone was a Jewish expert to answer this question. Since it seems to me that the people of the time wore the same thing (except maybe a different wrap.)

If you would... tell me why you think you are qualified to answer the question. Of course logiclly the one that has the best answer will speak for itself.

Thanks to all that will attempt. It's a tough one that requires knowledge , history and a understanding of the Scriptures.

By the way.....I don't know the answer and I only have what I've been taught.

I'm not Jewish and I do not know anyone that is a Jewish scholar of the Scripture to ask.

I've been looking for work for a long time (years on end) during and after I finished school. So far, regular prayer hasn't done a thing for me. More than 5 years have passed now and I can only vouch for two or three extremely short-term positions and several unpaid internships. I cannot understand it. A family member sent me a novena in French. I read the first day's with some difficulty. (I read, but didn't understand all that I read.) I'd like to find this same novena -- and any other that would help me -- in English. What I have is called "Neuvaine au Saint enfant Jésus miraculeux de Prague".

There's a lot of stuff about atheism versus conservative Christianity in the media right now--books, magazine articles like the recent debate between Sam Harris and Rick Warren in Newsweek, etc. Do those of you who aren't either atheists or conservative Christians feel left out? Does anyone think you can really meet with God in a super church? (i.e 1000's of people). Can you have a personal experience of the Holy Spirit, and the space to be truly involved in worship/ministry etc? I have attended a small church all my life (less than 100) and having moved area now attend a 'super' church and am v.interested in the differences. Please refer to your own experiences/opinions.
