Well, because Jesus had a special connection. He existed before as the Word of God before He even became Jesus.
But the Spirit that raised Him from the dead dwells also in us, that's a paraphrase from the Bible. So we Christians who tell people that they can trust the God talked about in the Bible are telling the truth. That is how we show that we are enlightened, otherwise we wouldn't even care.

I am not sure what you meant by enlightenment. But Noah's grandfather, Enoch was allowed to see and know a great deal of future. Check it out in the 7th chapter of the Bible book of Genesis.
His whole city was received into heaven and was called Zion.
