Please don't take offense, but this site is called Yahoo! Answers instead of Yahoo! Questions for a reason. It has been my experience that most people come here to talk about what they think, not to learn what someone else thinks, and that applies equally to people of all religious (or non-religious) backgrounds.

so far it's only served to consolidate my views that everyone should believe what they want to believe, and there are always people in a group ( whether hindus, atheists, christians and the rest of em) that are too extreme to observe the other side of arguments.

i must admit though, i've been impressed by the way that certain atheists and certain christians have been able to express their views without belitteling/attacking others, gives me more respect for these religions/beliefs as a whole, and the people who follow them.

...so basically, your only purpose for being here is because you want to convert all the atheists to Christianity?

You're either going to be here for a very, very long time, or a very, very short time.
