How can you tell? All questions come up uncategorized. I answer R&S questions all the time but I NEVER lurk in that category. Ewwwww.
But since I'm here I would like to point out a common misconception. Labels are misleading and the "atheist" label is particularly spurious. If I don't do drugs or drink booze, nobody is going around labeling me a "non-boozer" or "zeropothead." If I have enough common sense not to believe in a sky fairy, why do those of religious persuaion feel the need to label people that don't share their dementia?

And religion and spirituality are simple words.
The meaning behind it is sying this is a section for subjects that FALL UNDER relgion, and beliefs.
Atheism isn't a religion, but it is a belief system, therefor, they belong here as much as anyone else.

Because they are needy sinners who are driven to this place because of their own inner psychological conflicts.
They cannot bring themselves to believe and repent and receive all that God has for them. This is because they are spiritually blind and are set on a course of unbelief, hostility and rebellion against God. Having mocked Him time and time again, their seared consciences and guilty minds cannot allow them to acknowledge their sin before Him.
Their hearts will continue to be restless until they find their rest in God.
There is still hope for you who are unbelievers.
Jesus Christ said, "The world's sin is unbelief in Me."
Therefore, He is ready to receive and forgive you, and give you spiritual insight and eternal life if you acknowledge your sin of unbelief, and accept His offer of salvation.
I am praying that people will be saved here. May God bring each of you to Himself.

because not having a religion is considered one... if you had all religions in a categorical listing, you would have to have a N/A or a non religion spot. Atheiest make up a good percentage of the world.

I can't speak for the others, but I'm here because it's the only place I can express my religious opinions without fear of reprisal from Christian bigots. The anonymity of Yahoo's Answers forum protects me from those who have made my life a living Hell because I have steadfastly refused to grovel before their imaginary God.
