Many of them are interested in what we have with Jesus....
They don't want to give up their lifestyle so they say these things to Christians hoping we'll lash at them so they can use this to claim that Christians are no different that anyone else and justify to themselves not accepting Christ or at least checking further into what Christianity is all about

I will leave the christians and their bible alone the day they stop trying to shove that book down my throat!
I am a Gnostic and I do not tell others that they must become Gnostic or they will go to hell. I do not demand that Gnostic thinking be taught in school. I do not demand that the government be run based on Gnostic philosophy. You do not turn on a radio or TV and find Gnostics, Buddhists, etc. Demanding money to keep people out of hell.
If christians want to be left alone they need to extend that same courtesy to other religions.

Hmm... let me think... do unto others... how does that go again?
People - all people - are animals. We can live within our own family groups well enough, but when someone knocks on our door and insists that we're wrong... well... we fight back.
If you want people (and I assume you mean non-Christians, here) to quit looking for flaws in Christians and the Bible, then perhaps the Christians should put down the Bible when they come to our door.
Just a thought.

It's a part of the GRAND scheme of things... God said it will happen... And it certainly is. Now's the time, we as Christians, must stand strong... With all the negative thoughts I read about Christianity on this site, I become fearful... We are near the end times... And people are rebuking GOD. These are the people that will "accept the seal of the devil"... according to prophecy... So please... Fellow Christians... Do not be led astray by false prophets--i.e. books, t.v., propaganda... Be strong in your Faith... And pray for those who do not know God...

Because they find the cross stupid and insulting. It is an insult to them if you say they need to be saved.
