No. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is like Las Vegas - what happens in the confessional stays in the confessional. Priests have gone to jail for refusing to disclose what is said during the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Absolutely not. If they are valid Priests.
Why do I say this?
Simply because it is very widely known that there is a false "Catholic" church in China.
It is called "Chinese Patriotic Catholic Association".
It is a facsimile of the true Catholic church to counter the Catholic ideals and faith in hopes to keep a 'lid' on the counter-revolution.
These 'priests' are not real priests, they are communist informers for the KGB or whatever it's called in China. THEY do truly use what is in confessions for blackmail.
There is a true Catholic church in China. Currently it is 'underground'.

Oh dear where did this come from and how does someone think like this? the answer is a definite no,it would be breaking the seal and confidence of the confessional and would be a very grave sin indeed.

No.
A priest cannot repeat anything told him as part of a confession.
The Code of Canon Law states: The sacramental seal is inviolable; therefore it is absolutely forbidden for a confessor to betray in any way a penitent in words or in any manner and for any reason.
Violation of the seal of confession results in immediate excommunication of the priest.
With love in Christ.

I don't know if they ever have, but they're not supposed to. Everything that you confess to a priest is supposed to stay in the confessional booth and go no farther.

That would be a violation of Church law.
"A confessor is prohibited completely from using knowledge acquired from confession to the detriment of the penitent even when any danger of revelation is excluded." -- Code of Canon Law, #984.1

Uh, no. Priests can never reveal what is told to them in confession, not even in court.

All religions keep some kind of record! Isn't it odd that god says that if you ask him to forgive you he will and not bring it up again or keep a record of the sin...
