Atheists and Muslims both deny Jesus. Atheists are like Muhammad in that they believe in themselves and material things, earthly ways instead of Godly. Neither atheists or islam's lone prophet are divine or capable of miracles from God. They both blasphemy God. Neither offers a means for salvation. Yes, they are similar in many ways.
May God Bless you.

No. If any religion, atheists may be considered closest to Buddhism. But this is like saying blue is close to red on the basis that it isn't green.
I would like to point out the absurdity of 'atheists don't believe in anything'. First of all, athiests believe a lot of things completely unrelated to religion, secondly it is that atheists believe in the non-existence of god, and this is critically different to simply not believing in god.

There is no link there. An atheist is someone who does not believe in a God or number of Gods. Muslim put their entire belief into one God and in order to be a Muslim you have to believe that there is one God and no other God beside him. The same applies if you believe in any monotheistic religion.

I say I don't believe in God which is radically different from how you portray atheism. Mindless adherence to theological dogma is always bad and all religionists are much the same- the difference between a Christian evangelical and a radical Islamist isn't great.

and the none belief in God (Atheist)
be close in thought?that is a ridiculous assumption on your behalf.

No, I think Islam most closely resembles Christianity and Judaism. They claim a common ancestor in Abraham, and they all were developed in that hot, arid areas of the middle east. They are all monotheistic and rather authoritarian.
In fact, the greatest resemblance is their proselytizing, both to convert those of the other two monotheistic religions and to convert us wayward polytheists and pagans.

Atheists don't say that there is no god worthy of worship. We just say there is no god, period.

No, atheists say there is no god. That's the appropriate end to that thought.
