Your in church for the main morning service with your family and your other church family members.

The pastor goes throught the usual welcoming of everyone including new visitors.

Everything seems normal because most if not all of you are normal...but something or someone to you just seems wrong or out of place. What is it?

Then you spot someone you know and you have known that they are one of those long time secret society members and a long time member of your church and its never been a problem.

You wonder how many more are in your mist, after all they never seem to make their presence publically known or at least not very offten because they are secret. They are secret for a very good reason, their reason(s).

Have you ever wondered why pastors are generally mute on the subject or give little or no information as to their presence.

How would you know how many were sitting among your members because they would sure know how many of their own are present.

....thou shall not kill, and then God tells him to kill all the nonbelievers?

"Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the Lord's side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him. And he said unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbor. And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men” (Exodus 32:26-28).

Why do you always say that God isn't real or the Bible is a fairy tale? What did God ever do to you? I mean I'm not saying you should stop though I do recommend it...But why do you be so crude about the Bible? Did God kill your fiance or make someone steal all your money? Or are you just bored and want to annoy people.

Faith and reality are not always the same thing. The word 'faith' connotes that one believes they could be wrong as well as right.

That people continue to believe in the face of so much evidence to the contrary is incredible in itself but to imagine that evolution was cooked up just to debunk their religion sounds paranoid really doesn't it?.

Here's a quote for you: "At some future period not very distant as measured in centuries, the civilized races of man will almost certainly exterminate and replace throughout the world the savage races." ( from "The Descent of Man").
Hitler must have loved this guy. He literally considers genocide healthy,he's openly racist in the extreme and by the way wasn't social darwinism inspired by this God of the Atheists? (Or saint,at least).

After 30 years of study on the matter of Jesus To Christ. It is safe to say that Jesus did not die on the cross but saved by important people. Paul, who hated Jews more then any people, transformed Jesus from Jesus the preacher a messager of God, to Christ. He did it because of his dislike for jews. The so called Gospals were not written untill 100 years after the death of Jesus, peace be upon him. I have data that will show all this. Look out for the book (Working Title) Jesus to Christ. Thank you

As you well know, there is much controversy over celebrating Christmas and Easter because it has "pagan roots".

I understand the bible states: (2 Corinthians 6:14-16.) "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?..."

but what is wrong with celebrating Christmas and Easter along with other holidays? Maybe it DOES have "pagan" roots, maybe it doesn't. The important thing is that we Christians celebrate the birth and ressurection of our Savior. And that being, Christians don't focus on the DATE, but the OCCASION.

So why not celebrate Christmas and Easter?

Feel free to express your opinions!
Thanks :)

God bless!

and then describe how it could have ONLY happened through devine intervention.

that eleminates as an answer-
-child birth
-surviving an accident
-winning the lottery
-simple little coincidences

so once again, things that could never physically happen unless by god. that you have witnessed. honestly.

The Bible tells us that Christ resided 3 days and 3 nights in his sepulcher, thats 3 periods of daylight and 3 periods of night time. According to my maths that equates to 72 hours...How does anyone derive a 72 hour period from good friday afternoon till early hours easter Sunday morning, It's just not POSSIBLE... Either Christ wasn't in his Sepulcher 72 hours, which makes the bible wrong or he wasn't crucified on Fri and rose on Sun morn....

I'll be honest that I don't know much about the guy or his ministries, except what I've heard on here. I looked through his website, and I just watched an interview on CNN (why they are doing a Christian theme on the news channel...I don't know.)

I hear a lot of people say negative things about him. While, I don't agree with his beliefs (Christianity,) I thought he had some reasonable things to say during the interview.

For example, he said that the religious beliefs or lack thereof should not influence who we choose as a president. We should choose someone who is fit for the job.

Tell me what objectional things he says that gets people upset with him.

Please, don't be rude. I'm not trying to offend anyone, I just want personal opinions on why people like/dislike him, and why they have that opinion.

I have never liked the idea, but recently I have been questioning myself about becoming a donor after a person i knew died while waiting for a heart transplant(she was on a waiting list for over 2 years). Does it matter that when we are buried/cremated that our body is incomplete(in a religious sense, I'm catholic).

Our life after this one is a mystery. Perhaps we are reborn perhaps not. To commit suicide could be akin to premature birth where the baby is not fully able to function in this world because it is not ready to be born. In order to function in the next reality shouldnt we be totally open to every aspect and idea of this life so that when we die, if there is an after life, we will be able to move into it without doubt or reservations? If you dont believe in the after life wont you be spiritually premature and unable to accept what is happening? On the other hand if you are to deep into the dogma of religious beliefs and when you die if there arent angels singing to you and its just your soul floating around like a ghost will you not also be lost. Dont you think we should be open minded enough to except all possibilities? This will be to deep for some but i would like your honest answers anyway. Thanks.

I'm very Spiritual but not religous at all. It seems that all the major religions with the exception of eastern religions have become very violent and oppresive, and I'm wondering where the source of all this hatred comes from, and history alone does not explain why inteligent, educated people have all this anger and violence.
