1. it makes no rational sense
2. there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever
3. it defies all known laws of the universe
4. it is completely understandable and clear why so many people have the motivation, desire and willingness to believe that they have a supernatural imaginary friend that will let them live forever in heaven by his side. (death is kinda scary isn't it?)
uh, wow. Icarus62 types fast. I think he's a god.

Im an Agnostic myself but im not uneducated, i know a lot about religion and i have come to the conclusion in my mind that god is something used for comfort of the mind. the reason i dont believe is not because i havnt seen him but because i have seen a lot of wrath in the world, children being killed, diagnosed with terminal illnesses, endless wars in the name of god. That is wrath buddy, wrath is a capital vice, one of the 7 deadly sins. its not that theres no proof but that there is no sympathy on good people and innocent children to even make one think that there is a caring god up there.

I want to be able to see stuff, make sure that it is real. It is hard to throw so much beleif into something that has been a story for years, and just that, a story. I haven't seen proof and they dont' have any....Once there is proof I will gladly say I beleive with all my heart there is a lord.

The reason I don't believe is because there is no proof or logic behind it. If you see things differently that's fine- why let people bug you so much- I don't care if people talk smack about atheists because they don't understand things the same way as me. Look on the bright side- There's no proof either way so you can never lose

I was taught the greek gods and goddesses were not real. Why were they not real? They seemed real to the Greeks? I was also taught budah is not real...why is he not real? I was also told Santa is not real..why is he not real? Because they are not real. They are make believe. If you watch the discovery channel and read up on it, some of the stuff in the Bible is not real...i mean they were based somewhat on truth, but elaborated to "prove" the difinity of God and Jesus.

have you studied the human eye...if you haven't take a look at it... its amazing how everything works. everything is perfect so we can be able to see! do you think all that is an accident? don't you think it took someone smart to figure everything out ?! to put everything in order just so we can be able to see?

Because back when religion was first invented, there were many things that needed to be explained. Religion explained all of this. Romans had told stories of many Gods interacting with mortals. So, why don't you believe in all of them? Why just this one God?

"It would be better if God hadn't made us all"?
No, it wouldn't. That doesn't make any sense. Sure, there would be no evil, but there would be no good, either.
