pick one nation over the other? Why would he have a chosen people instead of approaching a couple people of all nations and continents to spread his word and everyone a chance to worship him? The Native Americans didn't know of his "existence" until explorers came over, so why would their ancestors be left out of the chance to serve this God who created all?

After getting the feedback from most nonbelievers on my last question, it made me realize that I indeed am a hypocrite. Not meaning to be but none the less, I am. What I need to be is more humble and helpful to my fellow man/woman. Christ healed, taught, performed miracles that even as a Christian is hard to believe but believe it I do. It's very hard to explain how Christ has affected my life in the the 50 yrs I have known him. I don't understand all there is to know about the Bible and doubt I ever will but then I'm not sure we are to understand it, but accept it by faith. I know that's hard to do when it's hard to understand how a snake can speak, or a man can walk on water, or be raised from the dead but then it's hard to understand how a brown cow can eat green grass and give white milk. Christians are to live in the world but not be as the world.

That non Christians are in denial? Obviously anyone who is in denial is actually a Christian still, as they believe in the Christian God.

I mean they arent inept. The combined military might of Iran, Iraq , Egypt , Turkey, Pakistan, Afghanistan , all of Northern and Eastern Africa , the Arabian oil states add up to close to a billion people . These crazy people would be a formidable force . But all the destructive wars this century seem to involve Europeans or more specifically Christian nations . The west must be really good at keeping those barbarians down.

If you or someone you personally know has,did they feel it was successful,somewhat helpfull,or totally unbenefitial or a scam by the healer performing the retrieval.? It has been used to rationalize everything from natural disasters, to poverty and hunger, to illness and loss, to brutal deaths bloody wars, to innocent babies born with cancer or AIDS, and every other bad thing that can happen to a follower of a God who loves them.

Why is one baby born healthy and another born into horrible suffering and death? There is no explanation, it's just God's will. After all, He works in "mysterious ways." Satan couldn't do a much worse thing to an innocent newborn. If that is God's "mysterious" will, then His mysterious ways are just plain evil.

Or am I wrong? And if so, tell me why...

If god truly exists, then why doesn't he use his super-ultimate powers which you claim he has to appear in front of all the Atheists in the world for 1 second and say "Hey, I'm real, bye."?

If he has all these powers, why can't he do something as simple as that. There are a total of 31,556,926 seconds. With that, he could easily convince more then 31 million Atheists per year of his existance, more if he appears in front of a group of them. Or to make it extremely easy with his ultra powers he could appear in front of all of them at the same time for 1 second just to prove he's there.

So why doesn't he do it? What's he doing with his time now? Is he on a vacation from all his past work and spends most of his time playing xbox?

Some of you will simply respond, he gives us free will. But what does free will have to do with proving his existance? He apparently used to do it alot in the past, why not now?

And isnt that being polytheistic . Either Gods in control or Hes not. If God permits cruelty ,war , crime, etc...., then God is at fault. ( Of course many believe in neither , which camp I am quickly leaning towards and throwing away the garbage Ive been brainwashed into believing all my life) Or as that Nietchze guy said "God is dead"
