I've read things like: "we are not deserving of God's love"

Let's say there is a God, this God created you as you are, imperfect on purpose. You are going to do negative things, according to a certain religion, the only perfect person was the Son of God. If you follow this religion (and I think you do) then you should be accepting of your shortcomings as human beings, and instead of focusing on what you're doing wrong, instead think of ways to not do them, or to better yourself and the people around you.

If there is a God, and "He" is "all-loving" then why would you feel like you're not "worthy of God"

Consequently, if I was a gay, meth addicted prostitute, two things would be true.

1) I have brought a lot of negativity on my life

and

2) I would be in shock of any "all-loving" God that didn't see me worthy of this "glory"

Now I don't believe in said religion, but for those that do stop focusing on the negative aspects in your life, forgive yourself.

and don't tell me it just happens. An elaborate system of justice (i'd love to say punishments but you seem to have a reaction to this word and I would like to keep you on track and not rambling) based on merits and demerits does not just happen.

Are there any scriptures to plainly state that a suicide Christian is forgiven?
Dont' come down on me-I am only asking out of curiousity as to your thinking but I intend to research this in the bible.My thought is that God is the creator and no one has that right to take his life but God. He has promised not to put more on us than we can bear. I can udnerstand unbelievers doing it-I almost did and it brought me to my knees to cry out to God at which time I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. I am so glad He brought me to the point of taking my life without doing the actual act.

How does god feel about transgendered people? If they were born hermaphrodites and felt torn apart their whole life between being a girl or boy. I know a guy who was born with both sex parts; well nonfunctional ovaries and when he was christian he was so confused because he wasn't sure whether he was a girl or a guy and if dating the other gender would be a horrible sin in god's eyes.

i'm really confused about this. Would god reveal this answer in your heart or can some christian who has just read the bible really tell you how god feels about your gender and identity?

i am honestly not trying to start anything, i genuinely want to know: Wasn't he pretty much sure that he would end up in heaven at God's right hand or whatever? I mean it would suck big time, but if God talked to me and I was sure that my torture and death would potentially save every human being ever, i could probably suck it up. Especially if i knew that someday i'd get to come back and rule a perfect world. Our troops risk torture and death every day, maybe we should worship them. I just think Jesus' supernatural side takes away from his sacrifice a little. agree? or am i a heretic for thinking that?

After 325 AD many books that were studied by early christians were strickened from the holy texts, the final bible that you read today is but a fraction of what it used to be, and I might add that catholics have 2 more books than protestants. It was men, not god that tell you what to read today, so my question is did those Roman bishops violate revelation 22:19? And also did the book of morman violate revelation 22:18? This could be a very interesting debate here.

There seem to be so many references to aliens here lately. Suppose aliens land on earth. They say they come in peace and brotherhood. They say they believe in God and that Christ has walked among them as He did us, offering redemption of their sins, and that they are therefore Christians. Christians, would you meet them as brothers in Christ? Atheists, would it in any way affect your non-belief?

Well, my bfs family is christian and invited me to easter service. From what i've heard it's very long and drawn out but i'll go out of respect for his family. Those who have been there, is it like a sermon? please tell me there is no fire and brimestone, redemtion yada, yada. As long as they are just talking about christ rising from the tomb i won't really mind.

It has alwaysed fascinated me how people explain the creation of the universe in scientific terms. You can't! Some one who believes this, and that God didn't create the Universe, tell me your explanation. And don't say for example "Lightning energized a cell" where did the lightning or energy source come from. This is a very interesting topic to me.

I know that according to etiquette, men are to remove they hats before they enter the church - protestant churches, anyway. I have been told that the same rules do not apply to women and that it's okay for them to wear a hat into church and leave it on throughout the service. I am not looking for opinions, but strictly rules of etiquette. Please help.
