Are there any scriptures to plainly state that a suicide Christian is forgiven?
Dont' come down on me-I am only asking out of curiousity as to your thinking but I intend to research this in the bible.My thought is that God is the creator and no one has that right to take his life but God. He has promised not to put more on us than we can bear. I can udnerstand unbelievers doing it-I almost did and it brought me to my knees to cry out to God at which time I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. I am so glad He brought me to the point of taking my life without doing the actual act.

Yes, I believe it is self-murder. Our lives are not our own, but bought at a price. I am so happy that He brought you out of the dark place where you were! God bless you.

Would God ever tell you to solve your problems by killing yourself? NO! Does God have a purpose for you? YES!...Is satan a liar? YES!
Dont listen to the lies of satan who says to kill, lie, steal, commit adultrey, hang out in bars and all sorts of wicked things.
God is a righteous God and wants to help you when you are going through the worst troubles. Prov 16:25 The way that seems right to a man leads to death. If you are a believer, who are you following? If you arefollowing your own ways and listening to satan youre headed to death. Jesus is the way to life. You can not make the decision to kill yourself because you are not even the owner of your own body. 1 Cor 6:19. You are Gods. You have no right to kill yourself. I think suicide is a sin of murder. You can not repent after you do this. In fact you are rejecting God in this act. You are to give God glory in what you do. You kill yourself in greed for your own selfish reasons, the same as any other murder. And there are no murderers allowed in heaven. Rev 21:8

Yes I understand what your asking. We have suffered a suicide in our family. I think the brain in an organ just like your liver or kidney's ect. It can become sick. I have to say I think that those that commit suicide out of mental illness are just that sick. I don't know of any scriptures that plainly states that a suicide by a christian is forgiven , but I do know that Judas committed suicide, and you know his mind had to be suffering after what he did. I still think he went to heaven.

I don't care wether suicide is a 'sin'. No one does,except religious fanatics.
But suicide doesn't help the person doing it,it probably gives them a moment of complete horror if they're concious enough to realise what they just did,if there's time to realize it.
Beyond that,suicide is incredibly damaging and traumatizing to the family and friends of the deceased person.
It's immoral to kill yourself. You do too much harm,to everyone. There are exceptions,but usually this is the case.

Any sin is against God. No, I cannot find where it either condemned nor damnable. I leave the judgement where it belongs-- with God.
