Everyone has money, some more than others.
It seems that more money you have, the less generous you become.
Church has nothing to do with it.

The only "church people" I know of who are "loaded with money" are the ones who own the church and pass the collection plates. Generous? Not from what I have seen. Oh, they talk a great game, but they are apparently more interested in building giant monuments to their own egos, starting Christian-indoctrination centers (which they call "schools"), lining their own pockets and sending others off to "spread the gospel" in the Third World.

For every $3 in profit a corporation brings in it keeps $2 while a church keeps $3. I think the majority of churches try to do good work, but the primary use of their funds is the maintenance and continuing operations of the church.

Well, at one point you could have called me a church person, though now I am a believer in house church. I have never been loaded with money.

Some are some aren't. Yur gonna love this. My sister works hard for church and is a very generous person. In her 25 years as being a Chirstian she has had 9 cars given to her.

Not all church people are loaded but they do tend to be generous.

I don't know what church you're talking about; there are rich people and poor people in every walk of life. Hopefully "church people" will be generous with any and all money they have, as should all people be!

Most are rich in God's Blessings and our treasurer is laid up in Heaven but we do not have loads of money for the most part. But Christians are the most generous people that I know.

Well most are run like businesses.They support ,first the running of the church(mortgage,power,water etc) then missionaries,then lots of different Christian charities,from unwed mothers home to schools in Africa.They are much more generous than you will ever know.Unless they are some storefront operation.

No...I'm a church person and have basically have no money....
but God provides for my needs and I'm as generous as I can be with what I have.
