My religion is summarized by five solas:
1 Sola gratia ("by grace alone")
2 Sola fide ("by faith alone")
3 Sola scriptura ("by Scripture alone")
4 Solus Christus ("Christ alone")
5 Soli Deo gloria ("Glory to God alone")

i.e., we are saved by “grace alone”, by “faith alone” and by “Christ alone”. We are saved to “glory God alone” by applying “Scripture alone” to every sphere of our life.

ROME PAYS $110 MILLION TO SETTLE CHILD SEX ABUSE CASES IN IRELAND.

The Roman Catholic Church in Ireland has agreed to pay
$110 million to avoid further sex scandal litigation. More than 20 priestsand members of religious orders have already been convicted of molestingchildren, and some estimate there could be as many as 3,000 sex abusevictims. Those who take money from the Catholic sex abuse fund must agree
to drop legal action against both the Catholic Church and the state.

I am a catholic! I beleve in one and only God! and I beleve and agree with everything in my religon. But I also beleve in spirets and ghosts and myths of magic and miricals etc.... I like halloween and I beleve in all the halloween scary stories! BUt I am getting the feeling that I am only suppose to beleve in God making the miricals. Was I wronge?

How can we say we love God, if we don't read His word everyday. Before you send me an ugly comment, just remember this, you're not mad at me for writing this, you're mad at yourself because I am right. This isn't a slam at you, this is a wake-up call to get right with God, before it's too late.

First of all, I absolutely adore spaghetti and music.

As I was trying to share 2 of my 3 passions with yahoo answerers (the other being poetry) I've had this really mean "I walk funny" guy with the penguin picture thingie yelling at me and using words I've never heard before.

I'm sorry mister, but where I come from that is not nice. Mister.

As I tried to contact my fellow goddesses on another plane that is not just of this earth, they sent me a myriad of messages. It's great.

I know that there are differences in beliefs in Muslim and Christian religions, but Christians believe in Jehovah, same as Jewish, and Muslims accept Jesus as a prophet, same as Jewish, so are we worshipping the same God and calling him by a different name?

It's interesting how many people say they are Baptized "in the name of the father, son and holy spirit." I know that Jesus commanded Christians to go into the world, baptizing them in the name of the father, son and holy spirit....so why did all the disciples baptize in JESUS NAME? Were they being disobedient? Did every disciple get it wrong...no! Never once in the bible will you see someone being baptized in "the name of the father, son, and holy spirit".
What are your thoughts? Thank you
