No - the horrid mirror monster who is stalking me generally will wipe the mirror clean so he can get a closer look (from the inside of the mirror looking out.)

No, I have seen marks but not writing and what i mean by marks i mean smudges, where the mirror didn't get all the way fogged up, nothing to worry about.

but if you write with soap on a mirror or something like that there will appear to be writing on it after a hot shower

No. But that is what I see when a wipe the mirrors so I can shave.
You can see something totally different. Obviously, it depends on your perception.

I did a few times. I asked my husband to stop (despite the fact is was very sweet of him to do) because it is a ridiculous hassle to have to continuously clean the mirror.

No but if I did and I didn't do anything to make it happen and it said something out of the ordinary I would be quite scared that someone was in my house.
