If it's in the front...it's not a tail.
You are one of the few men that would ever want to get rid of your "tail." Good luck with that...

If you find you have to talk about it, then it probably isn't a very noticeable tail anyway. I am truly sorry you have this body dysmorphia and hope you get well soon.

Instead of R&S, try "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered" for advice on having it removed. They know about such things.
