100% thumbs up for this questions. It just goes to show our lack of dedication to God. Come on Christians live up, step up to the plate because God is worth it.

This morning I spent time in the Word and prayer- and God lead me to just the right passage of scripture that helped me make a very important decision. I am so thankful that God loves me, and I do want to spend time in the word everyday, however, if I miss one day I am SO thankful that He does not love me less that day because I didn't. Granted I should- and the desire is there.

Joy V...that has got to be one of THE weakest excuses i have EVER heard for not reading the bible or not obeying GOD. are you saying that just because everyone else jumps off a cliff you must do it to? if you really wanted to worship GOD...you would choose to do it and do it correctly, not as the rest of mankind does. by your words it is known that you have no desire to worship GOD but use your parents belief and the political state as an excuse.

The last time I read a bible was about 15 years ago and counting...
My main reason for not reading it is because I now see it as a political agent and I want nothing to do with it.
Until God is separated from State I refuse to practice the religion of my parents.

People get convicted by God, that's why they get mad at you. I read my Bible last night, in Joshua about the Battle of Jericho.

yesterday- and the day before that.
what about you ?
"judge not, lest you be judged".
don't point out your weaker brethren. remember, you will be judged according to your own judgements.
reading also does NOT equal understanding OR application !
I've met many who knew the entire bible and follow none of it, just look at the catholics !
