Do you believe in tarot card readings?

I would like to know what you think of tarot card readings? are there are truth to them, or just plan fun? or what?

I am a pretty proficient reader. Sceptical people who get readings from me are often surprised when my predictions come true. (I don't take money for readings, BTW.)

However, I prefer to use the tarot as a tool for gaining insight into my life as opposed to fortune telling. There is much to be learned from all 78 cards - a lifetime's study.

Think of the tarot the way you think of horoscopes. If you want to have fun, you can read the horoscopes in a magazine and fool around playing with the cards. Nothing wrong with that. If you're serious, you go to an astrologer or professional tarot reader, or you really learn how to do it yourself. You get back what you put into it, you know?

I do believe Tarot reading can read the present situation, it can also read the future if you choose to follow a certain path that you are not sure of. But if you ask "Will I win the Lottory?" this is not the question to ask.

Yes, I happen to be very gifted in reading the cards. When asked to do a reading, I ask that the question be kept from me so I can get a true answer, I'm usually spot on and from the reading I get I can see the question that's being asked!

I have learned to read from several different decks in my life & I would say that they are not mystical tools, but rather help us interpret the subconscious of the person we are reading for. I figure it like this: they are kind of a counseling tool. They DO NOT answer specific question or give names of people, but rather help point us in the right direction ( to the truth in the subconscious of the person being read for) that the person themselves knew all along. Thats my take on it all. :)

Its more the reader that you need to be concerned with. If the reader is psychic and using the cards as a tool to help bring messages in clearer I believe in them.

If the reader isn't psychic and has just learned the cards as a way to profit from others, you have to be careful.
