Mark 16:18 says that if a Christian drinks deadly poison, it won't hurt him at all. Are you a Christian? If I gave you some poison, would you drink it? Ready to put your money where your mouth is? Ready to "step out in faith?"

How do they react to your beliefs?
Do you ever discuss beliefs with each other?
Do you find they are tolerant of your beliefs?

While I love all of my family, I tend to try and avoid discussion about religion/beliefs with them. One of the more devout Christian family member is always tolerant that I do not share the beliefs, but I can hear in his comments that he still holds the "My beliefs are right," view. It is very subtle, but I still pick up on it. It upsets me to the point that I avoid all conversation about it with him. I wonder if I come off the same way...?

so many people on here on R and S that evolution is fact. Well wikipedia still says its a theory, World Book edition 2004 says theory and the only thing that seems to say it is accepted as fact are scientist that say it is fact like gravity is. "It can't be disproven so it must be true." Sounds like evolution is the Atheists God. No one can disprove it so it must be real. it is a disambigous concept and that is fact

my brothers and sisters say God allows free will. Romans 3:11-18 says God hates our ways, and wants us to go his way.(Heck he killed his son for us, his son, children of God. I know Christians he rose again, but the son was hurt for U)
Seek his face, and learn Gods ways of been good. Become prophetable unto God. Then God will say there is a least one person's good from seeking my face, to gain understanding of who I am. Start seeking his face.

The Bible orders you to kill witches; it is the explicit, unequivocal commandment of your God (Exodus 22:18; Leviticus 20:27). And no, I'm not "taking those verses out of context;" go ahead and look them up. I'll wait.

I am a witch ... a card-carrying pentagram-wearing circle-casting Tarot-card-reading Sabbat-celebrating witch (merry meet!). If we met, and I assured you that I am in fact a witch (I'll swear to it on your Bible if you like), would you kill me? If not, why not? You should obey God rather than men (Acts 5:29). Are there any other parts of the Bible that you routinely disobey? Does this mean that you have a rebellious spirit, and need to repent?

Or does it perhaps mean that you obey only the easy commandments of God ("Love thy neighbor") and ignore the commandments that might get you into trouble?

How would you like it if MY holy book ordered me to kill Christians? Would it make you a little bit nervous if we got into the same elevator?

ok, so I'm going to answer some of those remarks you hillbillys make up about islam, first of all, jihad simply means s-t-r-u-gg-l-e!! And islam was the first religion to give women rights, just so you know, christians used to treat women like filth until islam!!!! also, in the qur-an, when it says anything about torturing the disbelievers, it means in hell, and I'm sure all of you agree hell is a place where this happens. Now imagine this : Say some Native Americans came into your home, with weapons from a super power country, and said, get out this was our land 300 years ago, so get out!!!Well this is all how the palestinians felt, when their homes were taken over, and they were all given to the Zionists, so this is just as if the native americans did this. Now another tyhing about the jews, we do not hate jews, we hate the Zionists!!!!!!! If they did not take over, Muslims and arabs would be on good terms!!!!!!! And christs and jews arte the people if the book, sowecant hurtfor no res

A third-year college student majoring in nutrition in Kentucky came up with this gem which supposedly disproves evolution:

"1) There is a mathematical and physical relationship between all (a) matter and (b) frequency,
2) There is a mathematical and physical relationship between all (b) frequency and (c) sound.
3) Therefore, there is a mathematical and physical relationship between all (a) matter and (c) sound.
By first order logic (the premises 1 and 2 are confirmed by all physics and chemistry to be true and equal) it can be shown that matter not only has a mathematical relationship to sound but a physical one as well. This proves that God did speak all things into existence."

This person is being hailed as a genius by all the relevant wackjob Christian groups.

When nonsense like this is being used as proof, how can Creationism have any credibility left? Do you actually expect the scientific community to believe nonsense like this?
