Socrates would imagine that the world should advance far more since history of his own philosophy. I think he would be surprised that we are still lost in the allusion of the concept of the super God much like the Greeks thought. Were not all christians,muslims,jews,pagans, etc. were all...people. simple and sweet.

I did not know him personally. I don't think I could take the responsibility of making that choice for him. However, I know my own opinion. My opinion is that everybody has a religion that will bring them inner peace. Your religion does not matter, as long as it makes you happy and encourages you to do good.

I didn't know him personally....what he wrote may have been for the masses but not what he truly felt inside. It's only a guess as to what he would think.
