I'm not sure what you mean. I know the legend of the dogwood tree, but it is not in the Bible.

Anything you like. They have no "rights". They are no "minority". It would be no "hate crime" if you viciously slandered one. Nobody sticks up for the damn dogwood tree. And you know why? Because they are dull and stupid and worthless for furniture as well as personally lacking in dignity,as compared to say,an old oak tree.
I positively LOATH the dogwood tree.

I THINK that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the sweet earth's flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.

Beautiful flowers. They grow in Yosemite National Park in the shade of these huge sequoias.

What about it?
It makes fluffy seeds like a milkweed plant does.
The native americans used the sapling bark to brain into string.
