Why not change the channel? (there, that's 3 questions, what a bargain!).

I know maybe they should turn the world on its ear and show The passion of the Christ. That would be justice to see the way he was murdered, on the day when he was resurrected.
But to be fair, Moses was miraculous in the parting of the Reed Lake wasn't he, as it was recently discovered that it was not the Red Sea, but the mistranslated Reed Lake. Truly it is a Christian holiday, and Moses was a rescuer of the Jewish, and played a huge part in the old testament and is Christian too. Wouldn't that be more appropriate to show a movie pertaining to Jesus? Maybe they are not believers of Jesus. As Jewish people are not. Great question my friend! This should spark some diverse commentary from alot of people!!!

They should have some better religious movies for Easter. The 10 Commandments are so old. They need a remake!

"The 10 Commandments" is for Passover, I think.

Perhaps they've done test marketing and decided that not enough people want a movie about Jesus. Or maybe there's not been one made about the crucifixion and then resurrection that's not too violent for television (gotta get it past the censors).

That's alright.
Everything the National Geographic and The Learning Channel offers up, concerning Christianity, is BS.

sActually the "Ten Commandments" is about Jesus ,in fact Jesus is in every book of the Bible. With that said , you should be able to celebrate Jesue without the aid of a movie any way.

Because there are not many religious Movies which were produced. Remember recently when Mel Gibson produced a movie about Jesus??? What a Stink was made and everyone was so critical.!! It is a very tricky production if you are writing New Testament...Too Many Critics,,,,!! Too much of a chance you will loose your shirt...!!!!!

The Jewish people are so intricately interwoven in all of the entertainment business it is hard to find anything good about Jesus and when you do the people who make it take nothing but flack for it. Too bad they are so hateful towards him still.

It is probably because there are no fanatics freaking out saying the 10 Commandments have pagan origins. Peace

You're kidding, right? You think that the fact that they show the Ten Commandments on network TV every year is evidence of bias AGAINST Christians?

You guys are so spoiled.
