There seem to be so many references to aliens here lately. Suppose aliens land on earth. They say they come in peace and brotherhood. They say they believe in God and that Christ has walked among them as He did us, offering redemption of their sins, and that they are therefore Christians. Christians, would you meet them as brothers in Christ? Atheists, would it in any way affect your non-belief?

Robert P: if there were an alien race, they too would be created by God. Is it so farfetched that He would give them the gift of salvation? I don't really believe in aliens either, but that's why the question is called hypothetical.

No...I would just assume the Christians already got to them and were successful in converting the aliens into believing their silliness they spread to them in an attempt to further make their religion look legit... no offense.
