IF there indeed was a God, and he never offers his people any real evidence of his existence, but nevertheless expect them to believe he exists, against all logic and scientific theory, THEN wouldn't this God be kind of twisted or downright sick-minded?

The proof is found through faith.
It's true with many things in life.
When you learned to float in water,
you had to have faith...
that you could do it,
that the water would do what it should do,
and that you would become buoyant.
As you let go of your tensions and resistance,
your body did float, and you experienced the truth.
You can float.
You can experience God the same way,
and have proof that He is alive and real.
Let go of your resistance and experience the truth,
and let God do what He will do with you.
Jesus is the only way He has made for us,
to come to know Him and His love for us.
Step beyond the lines you have drawn.
You can know the proof for yourself.

Yea I gotta agree with you peanut it is astounding. So many people have more faith in the gas at Canadian Tire gas pumps than they do in God. Esso, Shell, and many other companies have franchises that sell regular gas as premium gas and charge their clients for a lot more than what it's worth.
Yet people faithfully pump inferior fuel into their automobiles believing that there are no crooks in the oil business that would actually do that to them! Individual franchise or not.
I find it astounding that people put more faith strangers and the dollar than they do in God.

Just so you know the Bible has been proved to be the most accurate history book! Nothing in it has ever been disproved and it never will be! You have proof all around you that there is a God. Next time you look at a tree or a bird there's your proof.

If there is no proof and you have an opinion then it has to be a belief. If you have proof then it's knowledge.
About your questions, the same came be said for atheists; they think people should disbelieve god without proof.
What's the difference?

My proof is the air I breath and the ground I stand on. I find it hard to believe that the earth is here because a speck of dust exploded and made the universe. Where did that dust partical come from then? hmmm

what is proof? its something humans are used to. There is so much beyond what humanity cannot understand...and since they don't how will they know what it is? We are all used to touching, feeling, hearing, and seeing but there is a world...a spiritual world beyond peoples understanding because most of us never stop and listen to our inner selves

What if God proved Himself to me? What if God only prooves Himself to those who trust Him? Would you then begin to trust Him so that you could believe too?

Christians have all the proof they need.
It is super spiritual and we can't really explain it to others.
It is like telling a blind person what the color blue looks like.
But we know ,because we know.<><
