If you have no belief in anything, what do you beleive your purpose is here on Earth?

Do you feel your existence is of no importance and that life it self is wasteful?

I asked this question before, but I was hoping to get more answers, so I'm posting it again:

What is your conversion story? What is your testimony of Jesus Christ?

How do you know you are practicing the right religion? Everyone on Y!A can play the blame game - his god isn't my god. How can anyone believe in ANY religion when there are so many out there competing to be called "the one"? And dont say faith or my [insert religious book here] says so. I can find many many books that say otherwise. I'm not trying to be mean or offensive, I just cant understand why there is so much hate between the different religions. Wouldn't it be easier without any religion? I know more people are going to answer this with some stupid reply to get their two points than really think about this question. But I guess that's the problem with religion now a days, no one actually thinks about the world around them. Thanks for any serious answers!

Another opinion frequently expressed here. If you believe this, please help me understand how you do, as I don't.

I'm atheist and I know the afterlife doesn't exist. You're just glorifying death and dont even realize it

If a Christian on their deathbed asked that you pray for them, would you?

Why or why not?

However; remember that just because you don't have the answer doesn't mean it's not there. Everything has an answer. Regardless of what man says, Truth is and always has been and will never change no matter what we do to change it.

We can only either break ourselves against it or do our best to find it and know it for ourselves.

Do you agree?Disagree?why?

Give me a lyric (not a whole song) that makes you say 'AHA! Something that moves you - whatever your belief. For example:
"Like a bird on a wire, like a drunk in a midnight choir I have tried in my way to be free" - Leonard Cohen in "Bird on a Wire"

I mean, it doesn't really matter how many humans he steers away from God. God doesn't need us, so what's the point?

I've seen this opinion expressed by so many Christians on this forum that I decided to ask the question and see if we can settle the matter once and for all. (As if that really happens here.)

If there were no afterlife, would that mean that nothing we do in life matters, or would it make it ALL that matters?

Does this mean Anthony Burgess is a prophet, and "a Clockwork Orange" is the inspired word of God!?

How many of these retarded questions are we going to see.

I have a question for each of you.

Liberals: Conservatives are insane and they usually have Jesus on the brain 24/7. They will never listen to you because they think you will get them sent to hell. Why keep trying?

Conservatives: Liberals really enjoy freedom from your religion. It gets them sex and attention to throw the bible in your face. They are fairly normal. Why try to make them out to be so wicked and stupid, when they aren't? Jesus didn't say to do that.

Atheists: No matter what question you ask, the Christians are still gonna follow Christ. Simply put, he was a better man than you, or a demi-god, whichever. GIVE UP. Why keep posting?

Christians: Guys... really... don't argue with the atheists, they are smarter than you 9 times out of 10. If you have nothing but faith to argue with, then just shut up. Science and logic can be used to support the bible too, but why keep trying if you can't?

of themselves and their precious gift of life from God. However, you all say that fat people can be Christians, eventhough they sin. Well, I am told because I am gay, I am not Christian. Even if you look at gay as sin...How one sinner be saved and another not be?

The Bible also says to keep yourself clean and healthy, in mind and body. So, if you do not exercise, or if you smoke, etc...are you committing sin? You are not treating your temple of God adequately.
