I've read people stating that their religions doesn't teach to hate, but just for instance catholic church does not accept homosexuality and considers their practitioners evil and sinners. Some Middle East religions and variants can't see in a woman a human being with the same level of a men. I am not a theology expert therefore I couldn't clarify all religions around the world and its mistakes. At the end my personal point of view is, there is not true faith, none religion is the correct one, even those who claim their selves non believers are fighting defending their position. What every single person should do is just believe in what they really want to believe and not in imposed ideals o traditions, never be a fanatic and understand the universal diversity and individuality, believe whatsoever you God or faith is but always know that those beliefs are not allowed for harming or bothering others (you don't need to love them just don't mess with). Let’s think, if one was the real religion most of the world would be condemn which is not likely because there are good people out there and is not possible to be wrong just in spite of not believe in something whilst a killer or liar will have a chance just because his religion is the correct one.

Read the religious books of each religion.
If you are one of the few chosen ones, you'll receive the truth.
Appears that you do believe in God; you're half way there.
So you have nothing to fear, if you are sincere you will be presented with the truth.
As for hatred between religions.
I see very little of that but I do know that whenever you fear something, you attack it OR when you see others have what you cannot attain, you get envious.
I see a lot of envy here.
Choose the religion that does not require you to follow it simply because of blind faith. Choose the religion that is logical and is able to answer all your questions.
Hope you find what you're looking for.

I don't know why people have such a problem with it, if they would spend more time working on thier religion, and less on trying to be "right" in the eyes of man, we would all get alot farther. I personally have no interest in being "right" in the eyes of man, have no need to join a gang in order to support the idea that I'm right, and could care less if others think I am on the right path. Your spiritual walk should enhance your life, and offer you tools to live it more successfully, including your relationships with others. The basic principles behind any religious teaching, if truly understood, should unite us all, not divide us. It should bring us a better understanding of the world around us, not ignore-ance. It should bring you to a closer understanding and relationship with the God of your personal understanding. At the appropriate times, it should bring you wisdom, comfort, and joy. If your religion is not bringing you to any of those things, then it is time to take another look. "No Religion" is also a valid choice. If all you want to do is treat others as you wish to be treated, without some "God" telling you how to go about it, that is fine too.

Finally, someone asks a decent question!
Thank you, Willow 16.
Sometimes its like a stadium full of people yelling.
Almost everyone is yelling lies, except one person ...he is yelling truth.
But how to hear him?
Its a search.
The Bible gives criteria.
Making known God's name is at the top of the list.
Matthew 6:9, John 17:6
Respect for the Bible is another.
1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Timothy 3:16.
Followers of the 'right' religion are no part of the world
John 17:14, John 18:36
This includes staying out of wars.
Finally, Followers look to God's kingdom (government) as the only solution to mankind's troubles.
Acts 4:12, John 14:6
Find a religion that accepts this criteria and you have found a treasure.

I have had to struggle with this question in my past and what I have come to understand is that I believe that Christianity is the true religion because in all religions it's about what you have to do to reach heaven or higher planes of existence. A Buddhist has to reach for nirvana through meditation and finding peace through the world around, Hindu's are reincarnated so many times until they get it right, Islam says it is up to Allah to do what he pleases, now I am not sure of each religions specifics but they are all reaching to perfection, with Christianity God has reached for us, we are not perfect so can never enter heaven by our own works so God has bridged the gap for us through Jesus, I realize that some will find this offensive but it is what I believe and they don't have to agree. In the end if there were no religion then we would still find something to kill each other over, and that is what is really sad.

I don't think it'd be any easier without any religion. Maybe people of different religions would get along better if they adhered to the teachings of their religion. I have a feeling that none of the religions would teach hate, maybe intolerance. An idea I had heard was - how about scrap religion all together, just obey God!

Simple. There IS no "right" religion. Just like there is no "right" language. If my first language is French, that's the language I'll use because it feels right to me and I'm most comfortable with it, but it's not better than Japanese or English. Same as if I'm brought up Catholic or Jewish or Hindu: one isn't better than the other, but it's the way I'm most comfortable connecting with the Divine. So it's right for me.
Logical contradictions among religions are chimeras. Applying logic to religion has more to do with our limited understanding than with the Divine. So what if Judaism believes in One God, Christians believe that the one God is a Trinity, and Hindus believe in multiple gods? And Buddhist don't believe in God at all, as most religions understand God. Perhaps these are all "true", perhaps these are all legitimate aspects of the Divine.

That is a very serious question. I would suggest; just be your self, you should not have to change just to fit into a type of religion, you should find a religion that fits in with you and ONLY YOU. If you can't find a religion, then do what feels right to you as a person.
"Treat other people how you want to be treated"
Best of luck

word that American's can tend to spell issues extremely in any different case than the British. as an occasion: coloration - American coloration - British nevertheless maximum individuals in simple terms generalize the spelling of this be conscious as in simple terms "prepare" or "training", and so on. most of the individuals above me responded properly. "guidance" is the verb form of this be conscious the place as "prepare" is the noun type.
