I mean, it doesn't really matter how many humans he steers away from God. God doesn't need us, so what's the point?

precisely what you said, Ski. He wants us to go to heaven, sure, but it's not like he needs us to live. The devil could convince every human alive today to turn against God, and God would not lose anything. He would be upset, sure, but that's it.

What if he doesn't exist? I think Moses, or whoever wrote about him, only mentioned him (i.e. made him up) in order to besway the followers of Christ to lead good lives. You know, the Bible shouldn't be taken up scientifically, it's only the morals that count. Logically (although it is not wise to apply logic to religion) I don't think God would need to put up with a devil, he would merely delete him or whatever. However, if it is so that there is a devil, then I really don't know what his case is because, in this wonderful world that we are living in, there are so many people who are possessed by this creature.
I guess this will remain a question for as long as humanity will exist, and all the other species that will evolve and take over the world. In the end, if you lead a good life, why do you care about him? Just carry on as if he isn't there and try not to recognize him in bad people, but be kind to them and love them just like you would somebody in your family. That is when you will lead a moral life, and that is what ultimately counts.

Of course He does, He is angry, because He knows His time is short. He was only given six biblical days to try and rule the earth better than God could. In the old testament, He tried to rule with the Law, and corrupted that. In the new testament, He is trying to rule by the Church. (He comes "up" in another form.) He knows He is losing, so this is His last, all out effort. The gloves are off now.

Yes, satan knows his time is limited. The scriptures states this very clearly. He knows his destruction is emanate and therefore he is trying to take as many people down with him as he can. That's why the Bible says he walks around like a roaring lion seeking to devour someone. And yes, God in fact wants us, so I'm not sure what your last point might be by saying he doesn't need us?

There is NO devil / hell !
The devil / hell was created by christians - so shall they go there, to their hell !

You're right ....God does not need us.
However, if someone threw you a party and 2 people showed up, what would you think?
What if 6 showed up?

The more that show up indicates greater regard for you.
So, God can get along just fine without us, but as respects appreciation and gratitude ....dare I say: love,

ok truth is... no the devil doesnt know, and His main focus isnt on stealing souls from God His main goal is stealing the word of God from our hearts....the point is not to allow the devil in to steal the word...and to have a personal relationship with God, thru Christ Jesus...and thats the truth... be blessed...

He already knows he defeated he was defeated 2000 years ago on the cross when jesus christ died and then rose again the third day so he already knows hes defeated but he wants to pull as much people as he can from christ

And years from now, satan will try to fight Jesus too!
And lose!
Then it is ALL over with.
The Bible says satan will stand in front of all of us and we will wonder--"is THAT what decieved us?".
Then Jesus will kick satan into the Lake of Fire.
