I'm sure that the media doesn't tell you that thousands of people in Africa convert from Islam each day.

I converted from Islam mostly because Muhammad was a bad person (in my opinion) and what the Quran says. It looks like Muhammad only wanted to be famous so he created Islam.

Tell me something you believe....

As complex as your concept of God
or as simple as the belief that black walnut ice cream is the best.

Who knows, maybe there are layers of existence we don't know about just as there are layers of an onion. How do we know that God is indeed the Lord of the universe? Maybe he's only lord of a small part of it. After all, the Hebrew Bible mentions that their are other "lesser" Gods and that Yahweh is the God of the Israelites.

So, you just see a handful of people of another religion then you conclude that that's the way their religion works? Wow. So that must mean:

Christians are hypocrites,
Muslims are terrorists,
Atheists are jerks,
Theists are ignorant.

Gee. I wonder. Christianity teaches that do not judge others, love thy neighbour, stuff like that, suddenly there's a Christian who acts like a jackass, does that mean all Christians are like that? Nope.

Same goes with Islam, Atheism(I know it's not a religion, so blah), Hindu, and any other religion out there.

So a muslim claims to be a holy man and told people that a certain group of people are enemies of God, well you know what? I don't care how holy that guy claims to be, if his word contradicts with his religion's teaching, I'll just assume he's doing it for his own personal hateful agenda.

Why must we judge a religion by it's followers?

The general belief is that God created humans so we may worship God.

But angels worship God as well.

So why did God create humans?

And makes a statement about that man or woman's religious believes,

Sometimes its good to use art to make statements,

statue of david for example, or something along those lines.

I say taking the Jesus head on the Darwin ape is art.

I just did, and I've had a revelation!

Before reading this book, I was convinced that all the apologetic argument I'd read in the past - including on R&S - was just a load of biased, self-serving tripe (for what it's worth, no offence meant to those present.)

But that stuff was nothing compared to Mr Strobel's compelling arguments...I was hoping for something challenging and substantial, and instead I got nothing but logically-challenged, unsubstantiated, one-sided testimony from an endless parade of "objective" Christian scholars.

Honestly, I was hoping to learn something, instead I just had it reinforced that there is no such thing as academic theology.

Please, somebody, tell me there is a book out there somewhere that does actually discuss this stuff objectively. Really, does anyone know of a "scholarly" work which isn't just another excuse to tell me I'm going to hell if I don't see the light?

(Don't mind the image change and my new name, I'm still Adia Arek.)

Ah, the act of shoving one's ideology down someone's throat.

Annoying, isn't it?

Timelessly I've been told Jesus is the Saviour, Jesus is Lord,

with all due respect to the Christian, I understand that it is your belief but it is, your belief and not mine. Well according to my belief, Jesus is just a prophet and not Son of God, but do I keep it to myself or did I tried to shove that down your throat?

Or maybe when I ask questions like, "What is Hell/Heaven/God like?"

And I get responds like "it doesn't exist".

Well Einstein, has it ever occured to you that I was asking to those who believe it does? There is a lot of Christian questions here regarding the Bible as such, but I tend to not answer it because for I'm not a Christian, so I simply let other Christian users answer the question.
