I'm wondering how many people fell about us atheist. But don't be cruel.

In case some of u guys don't know what us atheist are: we are people that don't beleave in God.

ps I used to beleave in the so called god when I was really little before my life got horible and so stressful then I relized if god was real then why the hell haven't he stopped all the pain and suffering I and anybody else is or has gone through. I mean come on it seems like god is just another made up fairy tale. Srry if want I said bother's anyone but it's want I think and please don't answer my question if ur going to put in answer that will piss me off thanks

how can you worship a god that allows hell to exist? no one deserves to suffer forever. that is infinite punishment. no one could possibly be evil enough to deserve infinite punishment. thats incredibly sadistic.

Leviticus 18:22, the oft-quoted favorite of homophobes, fundamentalists and other members of the lunatic fringe says "Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind:it is abomination." That means if a lesbian tries to change and go straight, it's a sin, right?

i mean think about it. if heaven is supposed to be full of happiness how could u be happy if you had a loved one burning in hell forever why u have fun? that i think would make heavan depressing. and shouldnt evil be extinguished for good and not let hell continue on forever.

If morality for slavery changes for example it was once right but now is wrong why can't the same hold true for gays? Isn't enough that ideas and people change?

There is an old joke. There is a big flood, and the town is evacuated. The town preacher decides to stay at the church. The sheriff comes by in his truck. "Preacher! The water's rising, let's go!" "No I have faith that God will save me." And the sheriff drives off. The water rises and floods the first floor of the church. A man rows up in a small boat. "Preacher! Isn't refusing medicine because of your faith the same thing?

Some time back, I used the unwrapping of a chocolate Easter egg to illustrate the story of Jesus to a group of children, but can no longer remember how it went... I'm hoping someone out there may be able to help me as I'd love to use it to explain Easter to my kids.

Think about it.

The cosmos is all that ever was, is or will be.

If God exists, then that includes God.

The science of physics sets out to explain the nature of existence. Eventually, all that exists should be able to be discribed by physics.

If there is life after death, then does that not fall into the definition of the cosmos?

If atheist believe there is no God, why does he or she get so emotional and shook up over the mention of GOD? If they don't believe why would they care, it seems to me they wouldn't allow themselves to become so apprehensive, right? Just want some light shed on this matter.

Now i'm atheist but i still wonder how jesus got a ton of people to believe he was the son of god unless he did something amazing or they had really gullible people. apparantly he healed a blind guy and made a cripple guy walk. so yeah.
