Even paradise creates inequalities for women. suras 55:56; 56:36 and 78:33 state that paradise is a place where there are beautiful young virgins waiting to serve the "righteous" (sura 78:31). These virgins, we are told, will have beautiful, big, lustrous eyes (sura 56:22); they will be Maidens who are chaste, who avert their eyes out of purity (sura 55:56, Yusuf Ali's note no.5210), and have a delicate pink complexion (sura 55:58, Yusuf Ali's note no.5211). Nowhere are we told what awaits the Muslim women of this world in paradise: the Muslim mothers and sisters. One wonders who these virgin maidens are, and where they come from?

With the christian difference than in the Bible men are told to put the interest of your beloved first than yours, reason why in western culture even man open the door for women...

Does not the previous revelation, the Bible, have a more universalistic and wholesome concern for women? Take for instance Ephesians 5:22-25 where we find the true ideal for a relationship, saying: "husbands love your wives as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself up for her." This scripture demands a sacrificial love by the husband, one which puts the interests of the loved one before that of his own. This sacrificial love is best explained in 1 Corinthians 13:1,4-8.

We have here in sunshine an amazing example of the hypocrisy of Muslims, when he say the Koran do much care for women and they are equal...and they can be beaten...slightly, not in the face, and virgin women are created in paradise for pleasure...what this other member says and copying verses form Koran add, and she don´t see then where are the feeling or the goals then for this virgins to be created, there is slavery in Muslim heaven...the happiness of men is obtained over the rights of these virgin made created...this is gross over indulgence and has a lot of disrespect for the paper of women that are seen and repeatedly treated as slaves, submissive pleasure objects with much less rights...they are equal???, in Islam a man can cast away his woman with no explanation and this is very much supported in Koran...Muslim, don´t be hypocrite...!!!!

Well certainly not from where I live.

I have not studied the Quoran, but from reading the above question I would ask anyone to explain to me why someone can write a book with such a low regard for women and high self indulgence - and so many people can read the above with a feeling of anticipation - especially those who are married. This is a fascinating question and I am sure this will draw out some equally interesting answers, including how I can enter this paradise without harming myself or others, whilst . I have an open mind, and always listen to reason.

What ever it is you mean by your question, I'll still try to answer in an informative way...

Islam care very much for women, and for that when it comes to speaking of women, the Qur'an only mentions them in the good parts.

Notice (if you've read the Qur'an properly), that when Adam and Eve were sent down on earth, they seeked forgiveness from God, and when the Qur'an spoke of the sin commited, it never stated them both, but mentioned Adam alone.

It's not discrimination, but rather keeping the high level of a woman in it's proper place.

Concerning the verse you mentioned, women will get the same reward. The rewards of heavan are what no man has ever heard of/seen/ or can imagine, and so when we say rewards, there's never a division between what women get and what men get.

They are simply equal.

I do hope that you look at things in a proper, open-minded way.

Peace.

The Holy Quran talks about giving virgin spouses in Paradise to both, men AND women. You obviously have not read the entire Quran. You asked where do these maidens come from? Obviously if you believe in God and Heaven, u would believe that everything is made by God, so therefore, these virgin spouses would be made by God for pleasure. I found many verses to answer your question but i will post three since i do not want to take up the entire page. Here you go - Quran stating about Paradise and Virgin SPOUSES. (I have written spouses in uppercase, so it's easy to find. Also "Gardens" here are describing Paradise).

2:25 But unto those who have attained to faith and do good works give the glad tiding that theirs shall be gardens through which running waters flow. Whenever they are granted fruits there from as their appointed sustenance, they will say, "It is this that in days of yore was granted to us as our sustenance!"-for they shall be given something that will recall that [past]. [17] And there shall they have SPOUSES pure, and there shall they abide.

3:15 Say: "Shall I tell you of better things than those [earthly joys]? For the God-conscious there are, with their Sustainer, gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide, and SPOUSES pure, and God's goodly acceptance." And God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His servants -

4:57 But those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds We shall bring into gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide beyond the count of time; there shall they have SPOUSES pure: and [thus] We shall bring them unto happiness abounding. [74]

This life is not a dress rehearsal is the real thing. Make your life a Paradise now. Give and love - receive with joy. Be with the partner who builds Paradise with you.

Women are promised as men with what ever they desire and they will be given what no human ever saw, hear off, or thought possible, beyond imagination. The highest reward will be to see and hear God directly. All the rewards mentioned in the holy Quran are just an example to simplify it and make it understandable.
