Is there a real stereotype of them? Are they more conservative than not? What are worship services like? Please list any information about Presbyterians you know--whether it's theology, character, morals, or stereotypes....

We've only seen two truly atheist societies - Hitler's Germany and Stalinist Russia - and both are best remembered for savage inhumanity and mass murder. Does humanity need God? Kind of looks that way. These folks are real beasties. Maybe we should get them before they get us!

The critical quotation is taken from "The Book of the Law"(qv).

Preliminary to this question arising, one might suggest, is fulfillment of the Prophecy (or 'injunction') "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law". That having become the case, and there being found to be no law discernable beyond such exalted state, one might, and here I so do, ask "What is beyond Do What Thou Wilt, if there be no law ?"

Christian opinion varies on this one. I figure if I am my fathers daughter that even if I never speak to my father again I will still be his daughter.

Agree or disagree? Provide biblical back-up.

They're used to lots of spirituality & baroque qualities,so they usually get into exotic potporri belief systems. You get the impression their brains must be like a florist's shop.

How can someone claim to be both? Yes, God loves all people but, when a person claims to be a Christian (not just a person that believes in God but, is born again) I assume that they are trying to live their lives out as the Bible states to best of their ability. When reading the Bible do you just skip the verses condeming what you are supposed to be proud of? Why would a gay person want to be part of a religion that believes that homosexuality is a sin? It just seems to be hypocritical to me.

Please, I'm only curious to know what argument convinced you to become an atheist. Is there anything, in your opinion, beyond what the senses can vaildate or reason can prove?

Jesus was a Jew and the jewish alphabet does not have letter "j". Why do we keep on calling him Jesus when his real name is Esau ben Mariam (Esau the son of Mary). Have you experienced being called other than your name? You would not reply, right? So how can others be sure that they know jesus when they don't even know his real name and call him with that name?

Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary
How does your garden grow?
With silver bells and cockleshells
And marigolds all in a row

There are a lot of famous women named Mary in history. do you think this applies to biblical Mary?

Silver bells...Christmas..Christ..Mary? Is it just coincidence?

i am not religious, but i am quite spiritual. many folks claiming the same will reject any notion that has christian connotations, SIMPLY because of a christian attatchment, while excepting some eastern religious ideologies. why is this? barbarism and bigotry can be found in ANY religion if one is looking for that. so why is christianity so demonized simply for its title (content of religion is very offen the same)?
