John 8:31-32 If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 Everything in the scriptures is God's Word. All of it is useful for teaching and helping people and for correcting them and showing them how to live.
Colossian 3 :16 Remember what Christ taught and let His words enrich your lives and makes you wise.
Just remember, the Truth will transform us. Read the bible , get to know God, accept Him into your life and He will do the rest.

Truth doesn't offer protection, but rather the realization that no protection was ever necessary.
'I and the Father are One' applies to the entirety of humanity, not just Jesus. Oneness does not mean connected in some way, or to be rejoined at some future time, and it doesn't even mean something else that is identical to. It quite literally means the condition of being One.
You are not the human you think you are. You are the source out of which humanity arises, and you have placed your awareness in your own creation so that you may know yourself.
This is so for every human, every creature, and every object in the universe, including the universe itself. It all arises out of that which you are. There is nothing here but God, and you are That, not as a human, but in your divine essence.
As such, nothing exists but You. From what could you possibly need protection? Your physical existence will pass away, but this is not your essence. Your essence will never pass away.

Truth will open your eye to true worship and be aware of False Doctrine
You worship that which you do not know; we worship that which we know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 "But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. 24 "God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

The truth is that religion is false.
If you understand that and love it, it will protect you from greedy televangelists, horny Priests and Tom Cruise.
