Pray that they will become stronger for it.

Pray that they will be blessed with comfort and with what they need.

And if possible do what you can to help and spread kindness and love?

atheist denies the existence of god and full stop
an atheist doesnt have to agree with darwin or any other scientist, an atheist only denies god.

Can you give me verses, because I don't want it just because it is your doctrine.
Don't let the following affect your answer: I am Southern Baptist, and I've heard that we are saved by faith only, but then we read a verse the other day, and it sounded like it contradicted that, so I'm just wondering where people got both ideas. I may have read it wrong or something, althought it seemed to speak pretty clearly.

I have been baptized, confessed my sins, and believed that Jesus is my savior. But I am always thinking I don't do enough spiritual deeds and that stuff so is this a sure thing that I will burn in the lake of fire?

Deuteronomy 18:10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth DIVINATION, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.
18:11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with FAMILIAR SPIRITS, or a wizard, or a NECROMANCER.

Jesus prophesied about what was to come. From the eyes of an observer this would be considered Psychic and use of divination. Jesus talked with God AND Satan so he was consulting with familiar spirits. Jesus also raised people from the dead which would be considered Necromancy. So by the above verses, Jesus broke the laws of Moses, so any miracle worker, prophet, etc. would be in violation of these laws by the eyes of an observer.

This question is for atheists. I'm sure you all have your reasons for not believing in a God. You are convinced through evolution, science, Biblical flaws, etc. I'm just wondering how much research you've done on counter-arguments. I know a lot of atheists that call Christians narrow-minded because they haven't read into flaws of the Bible. I want to know how many of you have blindly believed what evolution and faulty science has taught you. What books have you read that have bashed evolution, or books that have supported Bible details?

does that mean they spend 2 hours and a half everyday just praying for me?
or is it something they really think sounds nice but is evidently a untrue?
anyway if you insist that you pray for the salvation of sinners´ souls...how do you do it? You spend three hours thanking god for everything you own and asking him to help you in all your problems and you finish your praying session with..."and save the soul of sinners too , amen".

Okay... Christians always say things to atheists like, "Well, just wait until Judgement Day!" or "I grieve for you... turn to the light now before you are cast into eternal damnation!" or something similar...

If there WERE a god, and he's BENEVOLENT as the Christians claim, wouldn't he be **nice** enough to let the atheists simply die like they want - no Hell and no Heaven?

1) "Church Fathers" - particularly from the death of Paul to the rise of Constantine, I want to learn what the church was preaching in the time between those two men.

2) Refute "Age of Reason" and "The God Delusion" and maybe some Voltaire, I've never read anything from him yet so I don't know if I would actually even disagree yet. The church was very corrupt in his time he may have been justified.

3) A condemnation of the Episcopal Church for endorsing openly homosexual ministers. In particular the book would have a historical bent by looking at the founder of the Anglican (i.e. Episcopal) church and how he broke from the Catholic because they would not grant him divorce. Essentially that denomination is based on changing God's marital laws.

4) "Letter to a Social Christian Nation", sort of an anti-religious-right book.

5) My own full translation of the Greek New Testament (I haven't learned Hebrew yet). It'd be kinda funny to have my own published version of the Bible.
